- Deadline
- For creating the form - basically the same questions
- Allowed to change/modify maxine
- Relatively the same substance
- Good evaluation of the person
- June 1st - deadline for creating the form
- Submission for applications - with no nationals time for people to submit
- Extend deadline?
- Ms. R thinks to expand it
- Not too much past June 30th because seniors are RLs
- And we are going to want some new Rls to get momentum going
over the summer
- Mid-July?
- Don’t extend to new school year
- Maxine: wants to have a meeting before the school year for
everyone to get to know each other
- Ms. R - virtual nationals so we will want thme for that
- Anya - first two weeks of July
- Anya - July 11th, that’s the second Saturday in July
- We’ll set up our meeting date around that time
- 2:10 PM
- Spring Uvae
- First Uvae
- How we’re going to do it
- Anya - we can decide based on our feelings
- We can have everyone working on it
- We can have three officers
- A couple officers working on this edition, couple officers working on next
edition
- One officer to step up to do it if they like
- Very noble to take it on yourself but it is a massive amount of work
- Katie, Isabella, Maxine, Robert Dakota volunteer
- Everyone is going to work on it
- Use Canva to create it because Adobe is expensive and not
everyone will have it
- Best way to get started on Uvae is to open up a brainstorming document
for what we want in this edition
- What we should do is since we’re doing regional leader form
- Brainstorming document is open until June 1st and then we get to
work on the actual thing
- Ms. R & anya thinks the Uvae should be shorter than it is
- Shouldn’t be that long?
- Ms. R says four pages
- Cutting it down a ton may not be super feasible
- Tentative publishing deadline
- Since it is a team effort
- Maxine - before Nationals
- Ms. R - nothing should go out without approval
- We’re technically liable
- Dakota - when is it usually published
- Anya - end of June
- Fine, good, reasonable deadline
- Done by June 28th,
- Get Ms. R’s approval by June 30th,
- Put it out July 1st
- 2:16
- Anya: Summer plans!
- In the drive
- If nationals is canceled is the plan
- Make sure to look through those ideas
- Comment on google docs
- Getting those out and getting the FJCLers involved
- Anya realizes Panita is missing
- Maxine - regarding your summer plans
- Different themed study days
- Thinking of themed spirit days?
- As you’re studying for Nationals, if you show spirit for that spirit day
- Anya Promoting those a ton
- Lore Olympus, webcomic app, funny ways to social distance/study with your
friends/this that and the other
- Be proactive and make sure that we’re not encouraging people to get
together
- Ask FJCLers if they have any idea
- We represent a very small part of the FJCL
- Ton of people out there that have some ideas
- Social media, potentially a google form if they don’t have social media
- 2:20
- Buzzfeed officers quiz
- We have silly questions that we’re each going to answer then Anya will input
them into a buzzfeed quiz format
- Find out which FJCL officer they are
- Cute and fun
- Get that out sometime in June
- 2:21
- Roberts - bylaws and standing rules of order
- Panita joins at 2:22
- Anya feels so sorry, feels so bad
- Wasn’t even paying attention
- Maxine- was looking into G suite for education for emails
- Asking for location for the organization
- Get a PO box?
- Anya - arbitrary?
- Maxine - put her own
- Too many mailers
- Ms. R put her own address?
- Ms. R - drew & panita sent a link to the officer survey
- Make name tags and send them to you, also get any other information
- Have we talked about officer logs?
- No we have not.
- Officer log is something Ms. R came up with
- A way to keep track of what you’re doing throughout the year
- Good because inform people
- Make election process accessible
- Ms. R writes good college recommendations
- Some months will be busier for some officers
- Really helpful for all of us to say
- - CAT
- Please do your officer log it’s a great way to keep in
contact
- People can read each of our perspectives on being an officer
- Almost on being an officer guidebook
- Not in uvae
- Okay to put feelings in there too!
- Really concerned about one thing
- Feeling really good about another
- Shouldn’t feel like a ton of work
- Don’t save it until the end
- If you have any questions make sure to ask Anya or Ms. R or Panita
- Application is a big thing
- Post that on social media
- Cool if we have a competition
- Send in your best FJCL social distancing photos
- Sharing that?
- Dakota - posting on social medai
- Based on being secretary
- You can do whatever you want
- First - share the design to our tech co and histo
- They would post them to the website and the Instagram
- The other thing you could do is because you do have access to the FJCL
social media is post them yourself
- Go with going through other officers
- To be able to see it first and make sure it’s what sjhe wants it to be
- Katie is in charge of social media
- Always when you post it - make sure to send it to all of us first
- Even as simple as a typo
- Keep officers informed on what is being posted
- Dakota already did
- Send it to Katie & Isabella
- For them to put it out
- Meeting ends at 2:31 PM
