Analysis: In our topic we will discuss the Phil. Heroes and their contributions this my help
those kids to tackled more about our legend heroes and their own way to fought
those invaders in able for us to feel and achieved the freedom that we want.
Abstraction: We have a lot of heroes like Andres Bonifacio, he is the founder of secret society
called KATIPUNAN. Philippine Revolution and the president of the Tagalog
Republic, a short-lived government in the Philippines. Through his work,
Bonifacio helped the Philippines break free from Spanish colonial rule. Second is
Gregorio H. Del Pilar, one of the youngest and bravest generals ever produced by
the Philippines. He was a general in the Philippine Revolution and Philippine-
American war and was nick named boy General due to his youthful age.
Gregorio was the youngest general to die during the wars. Third is General
Emilio Aguinaldo, first and the youngest President of the Philippines (1899–
1901) Filipino leader Emilio Aguinaldo led his country to achieve independence
after fighting off both the Spanish and the Americans. He also led the Philippine-
American War against U.S. resistance to Philippine independence. Next is Emilio
Jacinto, was an eloquent and brave young man, known as both the soul and the
brain of the Katipunan, Andres Bonifacio's revolutionary organization. In his
short life, Jacinto helped to lead the fight for Filipino independence from Spain.
Apolinario Mabini, as one of the foremost of the Philippine revolutionary heroes.
He was the "brains" of the revolution. Crippled as a young man by polio, he
realized that his physical limitations not only limited his personal life but the
struggle his beloved homeland was undergoing to become a sovereign republic.
And our national hero Jose P. Rizal, Rizal gave us freedom by using goodness.
Jose Rizal became the Philippine national hero because he fought for freedom in
a silent but powerful way. He expressed his love for the Philippines through his
novels, essays and articles rather than through the use of force or aggression.
Application: After showing the slides and giving brief backgrounds of our heroes of our
history, we will introduce the students to ways they can contribute to being
makabayan in our contemporary times. After being exposed to makabayan-
related activities, the students must be able to do acts of being makabayan on
their own, they should familiarize themselves on what is wrong or right, and
learn for themselves. The students must also learn from our historical heroes and
apply as they must also remember the life lessons to their everyday activities.
