V. COURSE DESCRIPTION:

This course main concern is to face a challenging global market place to survive and compete effectively. Many of today’s students will become the
system analyst, managers, and I.T. professionals of tommorow, In System Analysis & Design students will learn how to translate business requirements
into information system that support a company’s short – and long term objectives. Case studies and assignments teach analytical and problem solving
skills. The students are expected to learn about traditional structured analysis, object –oriented concepts, and agile methods.

VII. COURSE OBJECTIVES:

1. Explain how I.T. supports business requirements in todays intensely competitive environment.
2. Discuss the system analyst’s job in a typical business organization, and show students how to use various tools and techniques to improve their skills
and manage their careers.
3. Describe the importance of planning, implementing, and managing an effective I.T. security program.
4. Explain how IT supports business requirements in today’s intensely competitive environment
5. Describe major I.T developments and trends.
6. Apply critical thinking skills with the new ready for a challenge feature.
7. Apply multi method coverage, including a comparison of structured, object – oriented, and agile system development methods
