“Hello Bird, Goodbye: A Multi - technique Bird Repellent” best feature is its bluetooth

connectivity which enable the device to connect in PC or other device with bluetooth connection.

This feature allows the user to customize and select the best audio frequency suitable to deter a

certain bird species and will be sent directly to the device to play the sound. A passive infrared

(PIR) sensor with a sensing range of less than 120 degrees within 3 - 7 meters will activate the

device when a motion coming from the bird is detected. Each side of the device has a tweeter

(SFR – 011) speaker to provide a 360 o coverage of sounds to ensure that the bird will hear in

every angle. A horn was also attached to be used in the airport where a greater intensity of sound

is needed to shoo birds. In case an infrasonic and ultrasonic sound is played and cannot be heard

by human ear, a red LED light will serve as an indicator that it is playing. An 18V, 2W

amorphous silicon solar panel is used as a renewable free energy resource and an aluminum

casing was used to make the device resistant to water and harsh weather condition.
