FREEBIE!

I created these cards to be used with my 3rd grade RtI students as a quick
review. Students seem to constantly get tripped up on compound words when,
really, they should be easy as pie to read! With my students, I simply displayed
the cards on the document projector and had the students say the compound
word, separate it into two words, then record it. You could also have students
play SCOOT! with it, use it in literacy centers, or in small groups. There are two
different recording sheet options.
