2.0 UNIT RESPONSIBILITY

2.1 SPRING HANGER SUPPLIER

The responsibility of spring hanger supplier shall include design, materials, fabrication, factory setting,

The required hanger assemblies shall be detailed on data sheets included in commodity
specification.

6.1 DATA SHEETS AND DRAWINGS

6.1 The procurer shall provide the data sheets with the following; piping information, hot load, hydro test
load, travel, travel direction, overall dimensions and spring hanger assembly type.

6.2 The vendor is to provide the missing information on the hardware design such as hanger size, model
number, figure number etc. and return the data sheets with his quotations.

6.3 Weld sizes are to be shown on the assembly drawing by the vendor.

6.4 The vendor shall also provide outline drawings showing dimensioned mounting requirements for spring
hanger assemblies.

6.2 INSPECTION AND TESTING

movement plus 20 % or one inch, whichever is greater.

All hardware and assembly shall be painted with min. 2 coats of synthetic enamel unless otherwise specified.
