1 Update ReadMe
Version Cue CS2 Workspace is part of the software that can be installed with Adobe Creative Suite 2. It may be found on
each computer where an Easy Install (Macintosh)/Typical Install (Windows) of Adobe Creative Suite 2 has been
performed. The Version Cue CS2 Workspace may alternatively be found on other computers used as servers where it has
been installed as part of a Custom Install. This update fixes certain functionality problems with the Version Cue CS2
Workspace described below. It should be installed on all computers (running either Mac OS and Windows) that have a
Version Cue CS2 Workspace present whether or not it is currently being used to prevent problems now or in the future.
Reviewing one’s own PDF review when certain access rights exist
Fixed a problem where a user who has “NONE” rights on a project that does not require password authentication can
initiate a PDF review but is not able open it in Acrobat.
Link fixup in PDF documents that have been moved in GoLive projects
Fixed a problem that occurred in certain PDF documents that are created from HTML pages that caused relative links
between the pages not to be updated properly when the PDF documents were moved to a different location.
Checking in certain GoLive assets following migration from Version Cue CS to Version Cue CS2
Fixed a rare problem where after migration from Version Cue CS to Version Cue CS2 certain assets that must be ref-
parsed could not be properly checked-in.
Exporting a project using System Preference to a folder named with special characters
Fixed a problem causing export not to work properly and also sometimes causing the Version Cue CS2 System
Preference itself to hang when the target folder name for the export includes special characters such as “\~!@#$%^&” or
certain characters from Eastern European alphabets or Japanese.
