MENTE ARGENTINA SCHOLARSHIPS

Mente recognizes that for many students, scholarships are a important and even a necessity in order to
study abroad. Keeping this in mind, year after year, Mente Argentina has offered various scholarships for
our programs in Buenos Aires. The Mente Argentina Scholarship Program is designed for motivated students
who plan to study abroad, however, feel that they need assistance to cover the costs of travel and the
program fees.

UNIVERSIDAD DE BUENOS AIRES FINANICAL AID SCHOLARSHIPS

Universidad de Buenos Aires offers scholarships for Italian, Mexican and Chinese students that enrolled in
their postgraduate programs.
UBACYT SCHOLARSHIPS
Universidad de Buenos Aires calls for a scholarship for the award of Research Scholarships for students of
degree programs of this university and scholarships for master’s, Doctorate and Doctorate Culmination for
graduates of this University and other National Universities of the Argentine Republic.

Boren Scholarships, an initiative of the National Security Education Program, provide unique funding

SPANISH STUDIES ABROAD SCHOLARSHIPS
Spanish Studies Abroad has awarded over $230,000 USD in scholarships since 2001. They offer two scholarship
options for students attending their regular academic programs in Spain, Puerto Rico, Cuba and Argentina.
You may submit an application to only one scholarship: Merit-Based or Diversity.
UNIVERSIDAD AUSTRAL SCHOLARSHIPS

The vision of Universidad Austral includes both supporting all students with talent and enthusiasm to study
undergraduate careers, so that no one who wishes to be deprived of doing so due to economic difficulties,
as well as rewarding those who have demonstrated an high academic commitment during high school.

UNIVERSIDAD DE BELGRANO
Universidad de Belgrano grants economic support to the undergraduate students who need it, in order
to fulfill their academic objectives. The benefited students must develop institutional cooperation tasks in
proportion to the benefit granted.
NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF QUILMES SCHOLARSHIPS

The National University of Quilmes (UNQ) grants scholarships to take graduate and postgraduate courses
of study, both in-person and on-line. In addition to institutional scholarships, the UNQ is also part of
Scholarship Programs promoted by different organizations.

SCHOLARSHIPS TO STUDY IN AUSTRALIA
ADELAIDE SCHOLARSHIPS INTERNATIONAL (ASI)

The University of Adelaide offers Adelaide Scholarships International (ASI) to attract high quality overseas
postgraduate students to areas of research strength in the University of Adelaide to support its research
efforts.
• ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to students who have successfully completed at least the
equivalent of an Australian First Class Honors degree. Generally applicants who succeed in winning an
ASI scholarship have completed a master’s degree including a significant research component and have
several publications and relevant work and research experience.
• AWARD: Recipients will be awarded course tuition fees for two years for a master’s degree by research
and three years for a doctoral research degree (an extension is possible for doctoral programs only);
an annual living allowance ($27,082 AUD in 2018) for two years for a master’s degree by research
and three years for a doctoral research degree (an extension is possible for doctoral programs only).

MELBOURNE INTERNATIONAL UNDERGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIPS
The International Undergraduate Scholarships were established by the University of Melbourne in
recognition of the significant contribution made by international students to the diversity of the university’s
student population.
• ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to citizens of countries other than Australia and New Zealand and
are not a permanent resident of Australia; Applicants must have received an unconditional offer for an
undergraduate course and must have achieved excellent final year school results.
• AWARD: The University awards around 30 scholarships with a $10,000 tuition fee remission in the first
year of an undergraduate degree and around 10 scholarships with a 100% tuition fee remission for
the normal full-time duration of an undergraduate degree. Students who have accepted a $10,000 fee
remission scholarship will also be considered for a 100% fee remission scholarship.

Australia Awards Scholarships are long term development awards administered by the Department of
Foreign Affairs and Trade. They aim to contribute to the long term development needs of Australia’s partner
countries in line with bilateral and regional agreements.

ENDEAVOUR SCHOLARSHIPS AND FELLOWSHIPS

The Australia Awards–Endeavour Scholarships and Fellowships are the Australian Government’s competitive,
merit-based scholarships and fellowships providing opportunities for Australians to undertake study,
research or professional development overseas and for overseas citizens to do the same in Australia.

FLINDERS UNIVERSITY: AUSTRALIAN GOVERNMENT RESEARCH

TRAINING PROGRAM (AGRTP) SCHOLARSHIP (INTERNATIONAL)
The Australian Government Research Training Program (AGRTP) Scholarships (International) are specifically
intended to support international students to undertake a research higher degree at Flinders University.

• AWARD: Recipients will be awarded tuition fees charged by Flinders University for a research higher
degree, as well as a living allowance paid at the rate of $27,082 (2018 rate).

LA TROBE COLLEGE EXCELLENCE SCHOLARSHIPS
The La Trobe College Excellence Scholarship (CES) is a scholarship available to international students to cover
tuition fees for high-achieving international students accepted into their undergraduate and postgraduate
coursework programs.
• ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to citizens of a country other than Australia or New Zealand who
are applying to start an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework program in 2018.
• AWARD: Recipients will be awarded between 15%, 20% and 25% deduction on annual tuition fees for
the duration of their studies and are limited in number.
MACQUARIE VICE-CHANCELLOR’S INTERNATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP

The Macquarie University Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarship provides a partial tuition fee scholarship
for outstanding students to study at Macquarie University North Ryde campus.

• AWARD: Recipients will be awarded up to $10,000 AUD and it will be applied towards their tuition fee.
IWC MASTER’S SCHOLARSHIPS

The IWC Scholarships are prestigious scholarships awarded annually to high calibre candidates who clearly
demonstrate potential to become future water leaders to study the IWC Master of Integrated Water Mana-
gement (MIWM) at The University of Queensland in Australia.
• ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to students who meet the following requirements: Must have
completed an undergraduate degree in a related field of study from an internationally recognized
institution; Must have at least two years of professional experience (paid work or volunteering experience)
relevant to the program.
• AWARD: Recipients will be awarded $92,645 AUD.

MONASH INTERNATIONAL LEADERSHIP SCHOLARSHIP

The Monash University Scholarship program offers over 200 scholarships for new and current students.
• ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to students who meet the following requirements: Applicants
must be an international student; commencing a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate (coursework)
degree at a Monash campus in Australia (you must have received a full Monash course offer); must not
be the recipient of any other scholarships, grants or financial incentives funded by Monash University
or be sponsored by other bodies/institutions. Learn more here.
• AWARD: Recipients will be awarded 100% course fees paid until the minimum number of points for
their degree are completed (excludes OSHC, accommodation and living costs).

AUSTRALIA RESEARCH TRAINING PROGRAM (RTP) SCHOLARSHIPS
The RTP provides block grants, on a calendar year basis, to higher education providers (HEPs) to support both
domestic and overseas students undertaking research doctorate and research master’s degrees, known as
higher degrees by research (HDRs).
• ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to domestic or overseas students enrolled in an accredited HDR
course of study at an Australian HEP. Applications for RTP Scholarships need to be made directly to
participating universities. Each university has its own application and selection process, please contact
your chosen university.
• AWARD: Students can be offered RTP scholarships for one or more of the following: tuition fees offset,
stipend for general living costs, and allowances related to the ancillary cost of research degrees.

The Victorian International Education Awards are an initiative of the Victorian Government to support the
international education sector, promote best practice in the sector, and raise awareness of its benefits to
the broader community.

institution in Victoria.

Canada
SCHOLARSHIPS TO STUDY IN CANADA
HUMBER INTERNATINAL ENTRANCE SCHOLARSHIPS

Humber College in Toronto, Canada offers full and partial tuition scholarships to international undergraduate
students. The scholarships are divided throughout their three semester intakes each year (Winter, Summer,
Fall). Applications will be considered based on academics, community involvement, referee/reference letters
and statement of interest.
• ELIGIBILITY: These scholarships are open to students coming directly from high school/secondary
school studies, who are non-transfer students (i.e. haven’t attended college or university, or studied in
Humber’s EAP program), and are unlimited in quantity. Humber awards degree scholarships
automatically to graduating high school students based on academic achievement.
• AWARD: Humber College offers one full tuition scholarship and several scholarship worth from $5,000

INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT RESEARCH AWARDS
The IDRC offers various scholarships for master’s, PhD and post doctoral students to fund work that will
address challenges in developing countries. There are also some scholarships available to Canadian students
to conduct research that will benefit the developing world.
• ELIGIBILITY: These scholarships are open to Canadians, permanent residents of Canada, and citizens of
developing countries pursuing a master’s or a doctoral degree at a recognized university OR who have
completed a master’s or a doctoral degree at a recognized university.

YORK UNIVERSITY INTERNATIONAL STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP

York University in Ontario, Canada offers the Global Leader of Tomorrow Scholarships and the International
Entrance Scholarships to international students for full time undergraduate study.
• ELIGIBILITY: York University offers multiple scholarships that are open to international students. For

• AWARD: The award varies depending on the scholarship. Recipients of the Global Leader of Tomorrow

UNIVERSITY OF BRITISH COLUMBIA INTERNATIONAL MAJOR

ENTRANCE SCHOLARSHIPS (IMES)
IMES is a merit based scholarship for students who are offered admission at the University of British Columbia.
Students must be on a study permit and demonstrate outstanding academic achievement.

UNIVERSITY OF MANITOBA GRADUATE FELLOWHIPS

The Government of Manitoba has provided funds to ensure that Manitoba’s best students continue education
at home, to foster research that leads to economic growth and to attract excellent students to study in Manitoba.
• ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to students with a minimum GPA of 3.75 (above B+) in each of the
last two years of study at a recognized university based on a bachelor’s, master’s graduate diploma or a

• AWARD: PhD winners are awarded $18,000 CAD while master’s winners are awarded $14,000 CAD.

GRADUATE GLOBAL LEADERSHIP FELLOWSHIP
The Graduate Global Leadership Fellowships enable promising leaders from developing countries to pursue
doctoral studies at UBC. The fellowships are to support international students showing outstanding
leadership in humanitarian and development work in their home country. Graduate Global Leadership
Fellowships thus open the way to a world-class graduate education for emerging scholars from countries
with developing educational systems.
• ELIGIBILITY: These scholarships are open to students who hold a study permit at the beginning of the
fellowship funding period; are citizens of a developing country at the time of application for admission;
have shown outstanding leadership in humanitarian and development work in their home country;
are starting a PhD or DMA program at the UBC Vancouver campus in January, May, or September; are
starting their first doctoral degree; students with external funding (external scholarships, third-party
sponsorship, etc.) are eligible to apply, but if successful, recipients will have their Graduate Global
Leadership Fellowship funding reduced by the amount of their external funding.

UNIVERSITY OF ALBERTA SCHOLARSHIPS

The University of Alberta offers many scholarship opportunities to undergraduate and graduate students
with outstanding academic potential. They offer more than $28 million CAD in undergraduate scholarships

MCGILL UNIVERSITY INTERNATIONAL STUDENT FUNDING

PIERRE ELLIOTT TRUDEAU FOUNDATION

The Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation offers doctoral scholarships in the humanities and social sciences field.

fields. Trudeau Scholars are outstanding students who are interested in growing in a multidisciplinary learning
environment and in addressing important questions for Canada and the world.

FINCAD WOMEN IN FINANCE SCHOLARSHIP
FINCAD established FINCAD’s Women in Finance scholarship to support oustanding women in the field of
finance, especially in the field of derivates and financial risk management. It is also designed to give women
the opportunity to cultivate and share their skills.
• ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to women of any nationality who wish to study finance in a
graduate-level program.
• AWARD: Recipients will be awarded $10,000 USD to support their graduate-level studies.
VARNIER CANADA GRADUATE SCHOLARSHIPS

This scholarship, launched by the government of Canada, is designed to help well qualified doctoral students
pursue their studies in renowned Canadian institutions.
• ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to Canadian citizens, permanent citizens of Canda and foreign
citizens. Applicants will be considered on three equally weighted selection criteria: academic excellence,
research potential and leadership.

The ICCS offers 6 scholarships annually to young international scholars to spend 4-6 weeks at a Canadian
University for research in the field of Canadian studies.
• ELIGIBILITY: These scholarships are open to students in the social sciences or humanities field who are
preparing for a graduate thesis or dissertation on Canada

Scholarship Guide: Studying in Chile
SCHOLARSHIPS TO STUDY IN CHILE
UNIVERSIDAD DE ATACAMA ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE SCHOLARSHIP

The Scholarship for Academic Excellence aims to promote the academic and human education of students
with high academic performance in the University selection test, interested in the undergraduate academic
offer of the University of Atacama.
• ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to students from the region or country who have demonstrated
high academic performance interested in pursuing careers taught by the University of Atacama. For full

• AWARD: Recipients will be awarded financing for their full tuition fees. Three scholarships will be awarded
per year. The requirement for the maintenance of this scholarship is the approval of 100% of the subjects
taken in the academic year.

CHILEAN NELSON MANDELA SCHOLARSHIP
The Chilean International Cooperation Agency (AGCI) is offering scholarships for accredited Spanish-taught
master’s program at Chilean higher education institutions in 2019.
• ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to citizens of South Africa, Mozambique and Angola and preferably
to those who work in the public or academic sectors in their home country.
• AWARD: Recipients will be awarded all expenses including tuition fees, graduation costs, medical
insurance, monthly allowance, and their return airfare.
SYLFF – UNIVERSIDAD DE CHILE

SYLFF is designed for Chilean or foreign students, particularly from Latin American countries, with excellent
academic performance and demonstrated leadership potential in their area of development,
who before
applying for the scholarship are duly accepted or enrolled in the graduate programs of Universidad de Chile.
• ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to Chilean or foreign master’s students at Universidad de Chile.

JUAN GÓMEZ MILLAS SCHOLARSHIP

This scholarship is designed for needy foreign students from Latin America and the Caribbean who choose to
further their university studies at a traditional or private institution accredited by the National Accreditation
Commission.
• ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to foreign students who reside in Chile and come from Latin

• AWARD: Recipients will be awarded financing for total or partial annual tuition with a maximum limit of
CLP 1,150,000 (approximately $2,046 USD).
UNDERGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIPS: UNIVERSITY OF TARAPACÁ (ARICA)

This scholarship allows high school students from Bolivia to study a degree course at Universidad de
Tarapacá (UTA). The pre-degree courses that can be studied within the framework of the Scholarship are
exclusively those offered by the UTA.
• ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to candidates with Bolivian nationality, as well as permanent
residence in Bolivia. Candidates must also have an excellent academic performance, that is, be among
the four best averages of their school or high school. That is, average higher than six point five (6.5). For
• AWARD: Recipients will be awarded monetary aid for the purchase of a passage per year, from the place of
origin in Bolivia to the city of Arica and its return. Recipients will also be awarded help for accommodation
and food expenses equivalent to the sum of $150,000 USD per month for 10 months in the year.

UNIVERSIDAD DEL DESARROLLO SCHOLARSHIPS
Universidad Del Desarrollo is a private university in Chile providing several scholarships to students from
various disciplines.
FEDERICO SANTA MARÍA TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIPS

Federico Santa Maria Technical University offers scholarships for both new students and students with
academic excellence.
AGCI SCHOLARSHIPS
The Chilean Government scholarships program offers the following scholarships to students: Post-graduate
scholarships, scholarships designed specifically for master’s degree studies, and scholarships for post-
graduate diplomas and international courses.

SCHOLARSHIPS TO STUDY IN CHINA
MOFCOM SCHOLARSHIP
MOFCOM Scholarship is set up by the Ministry of Commerce of People’s Republic of China to further
strengthen the communication and cooperation between China and other countries, as well as to develop
talents for developing countries. Starting from 2015, MOFCOM Scholarship mainly sponsors the young and
the middle-aged talents from recipient countries to pursue their postgraduate degree education in China
and entrusts China Scholarship Council to administer the Scholarship.
• ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to students meeting the following requirements: be a citizen of a
country other than the People’s Republic of China, and be in good health; be a bachelor’s degree holder
when applying for master’s program; be a master’s degree holder when applying for doctoral program;
be under the age of 45 when applying; have sufficient English or Chinese proficiency which meets the
academic requirements of the program. English: IETS 6.0 or above, Chinese: HSK level 4 (score180) or
above, or other evidence which indicates your English or Chinese proficiency is adequate.

CONFUCIUS INSTITUTE SCHOLARSHIP
For the purpose of supporting the development of Confucius Institutes, facilitating international promotion
of the Chinese language and dissemination of Chinese culture.
• ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to international students from 18 to 35 years old. The applicants
must have Chinese Proficiency Test HSK 210 or HSKK 60.
• AWARD: Recipients will be awarded full coverage on tuition fees, accommodation fees, living allowance
and comprehensive medical insurance.

BILATERAL PROGRAM FOR BACHELOR’S DEGREE

In order to promote the mutual understanding, cooperation and exchanges in politics, economy, culture,
education and trade between China and other countries, the Chinese government has set up a series
of scholarship programs to sponsor international students, teachers and scholars to study and conduct
research in Chinese universities.
• ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to new students during their bachelor’s degree who are no older
than 25 years of age.
• AWARD: Recipients will be awarded a living allowance of ¥1,400 CNY per month.

HUBEI PROVINCIAL SCHOLARSHIPS

In order to adapt the development of study abroad in china and increase the use efficiency of scholarships
for international students, Hubei Province has established regulations of Hubei Provincial Scholarships
Management for the purpose of talent cultivation, scientific research, social service, and cultural exchanges
in universities and colleges.

RUSSIAN GOVERNMENT SCHOLARSHIPS

International students who apply to study at Russian universities are eligible to apply for state funded
scholarships that are a limited number. There is a competitive selection for the scholarship (quota for
international students) which is organized by Rossotrudnichestvo representative offices around the world.
In the countries where Rossotrudnichestvo is not represented, the competitive selection is organized by
Russian diplomatic missions (embassies or consulates).

LOTUS SCHOLARSHIP
The Lotus Scholarship is awarded to students who achieve high academic standards and demonstrate
a financial need in order to attend University of the West (UWest). The Scholarship was established
in 2012 and has so far been awarded to more than 150 students.
• ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to new students seeking either bachelor’s degrees or master’s
degrees at UWest. Doctoral degree students, ELI students, or students seeking certificates only are not
eligible for this scholarship.
• AWARD: Recipients will be awarded $5,000 USD – $10,000 USD, depending on the type of scholarship.
NYU WAGNER MERIT BASED SCHOLARSHIPS

Merit-based scholarships to help you finance your degree at New York University. Approximately 20% of
enrolling students are awarded scholarships.
• ELIGIBILITY: These scholarships are open to all full-time and part-time students.
• AWARD: The award varies depending on the scholarship. The scholarships range from $10,000 USD of
funding to full tuition fees payment.
MICROSOFT DISABILITY SCHOLARSHIP

The disAbility Scholarship at Microsoft delivers on the mission of Microsoft’s cross disability employee
resource group to empower and enable people with disabilities. This scholarship enables high school
students with disabilities to go to college and target a career in the technology industry. Microsoft additionally
hopes that this scholarship allows more people living with disabilities to enroll in higher education, and
decrease unemployment levels for this demographic
This scholarship will be awarded to promising high school seniors who plan to attend a vocational or
academic college and have a financial need. The amount of this renewable scholarship to be awarded is
$5,000 per year, up to $20,000. The scholarship is paid through the Seattle Foundation on behalf of the
disAbility Employee Resource Group (ERG) at Microsoft to the recipient’s school’s Financial Aid Office.
• ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to applicants of all nationalities, as long as they are a current high
school senior with living with a disability (as defined by WHO).
• AWARD: Recipients will be awarded $5,000 USD per year, up to $20,000 USD.
ILLINOIS WESLEYAN UNIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIPS
Merit-based scholarships are offered to qualified international applicants with outstanding academic
achievement and test scores on the required entrance exams. These awards range from $10,000 – $25,000
per year and are renewable for up to four years. In some instances, additional help is provided through
student loans and campus employment.
• ELIGIBILITY: These scholarships are open to highly qualified international students with talents, interests,
and academic achievements.
• AWARD: Recipients will be awarded anywhere from $10,000 USD – $25,000 USD per year.
COLUMBIA COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS

All international applicants eligible for full program admission to the traditional Day Campus are encouraged
to compete in Scholarship Day. Scholarship Day is a competition for the top awards as well as additional
leadership, talent, and institutional academic awards. The competition consists of two parts: a written essay
and an interview. Applicants to the College who are unable to attend Scholarship Day in person may compete
by completing their interview portion over the phone or through video conferencing.
• ELIGIBILITY: These scholarships are open to non-native English speakers applying to the main campus
in Columbia, Missouri. Students must also meet minimum eligibility requirements and be attending the
traditional Day Campus full time as a degree seeking student each semester.
• AWARD: Recipients will be awarded a one time cash grant or 15% – 100% tuition reduction.
TRANSTUTORS SCHOLARSHIP
Transtutors has always advocated that a solid education and the right motivation is all you need to be
successful. Their goal is to help students realize their talents and get motivated about their education and
their future.
• ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to college students from the USA, Australia or Canada. Applicants
should be college students during the time of application or by November 30, 2017.
• AWARD: Recipients will be awarded $1,000 USD in tuition assistance.
GOMK COMPUTER SCIENCE SCHOLARSHIP

Go Mechanical Keyboard reviews products that programmers use constantly. This is why they decide to create
a scholarship to support students entering computer science programs.
• ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to all undergraduate or postgraduate computer science students.
Preference will be given to educational paths that place an emphasis on programming.
• AWARD: Recipients will be awarded $1,000 USD at the start. The award will grow on a yearly basis.

INTERNATIONAL WOMEN IN MEDIA SCHOLARSHIP
All too often, women have to work extra hard to gain the same respect or status as a man in a similar position,
especially those in foreign countries. To this end, Everipedia has created a list of female reporters and
journalists that they believe deserve recognition for their work. The International Women in Media
Scholarship aims to bring awareness and recognition to women working tirelessly across the globe in search
of the truth.
• ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to seniors in high school or students currently enrolled in a
college/university. Applicants must be fluent in English. Submissions with poor grammar will not be
considered.
• AWARD: Recipients will be awarded $1,000 USD, presented as a one-time award.
OLM MALALA YOUSAFZAI SCHOLARSHIP

Online Logo Maker has its own Scholarship named after the great activist from our actual time: Malala
Yousafzai, known for fighting for education.
• ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to students committed to improving lives and passionate about
helping the community. It is geared toward women with big dreams who want to make a difference in
the world. To receive this award, you must be a woman, 30 years old or more (on the day you submit
your application), and interested in studying Arts and Design. You can be enrolled in an Arts and Design
course that you stopped for years or not enrolled in any course since high school.
• AWARD: Recipients will be awarded $1,000 USD.
