MENTE ARGENTINA SCHOLARSHIPS


Mente recognizes that for many students, scholarships are a important and even a necessity in order to
study abroad. Keeping this in mind, year after year, Mente Argentina has offered various scholarships for
our programs in Buenos Aires. The Mente Argentina Scholarship Program is designed for motivated students
who plan to study abroad, however, feel that they need assistance to cover the costs of travel and the

ADELAIDE SCHOLARSHIPS INTERNATIONAL (ASI)


The University of Adelaide offers Adelaide Scholarships International (ASI) to attract high quality overseas
postgraduate students to areas of research strength in the University of Adelaide to support its research
efforts.

• ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to students who have successfully completed at least the
equivalent of an Australian First Class Honors degree. Generally applicants who succeed in winning an
ASI scholarship have completed a master’s degree including a significant research component and have
several publications and relevant work and research experience.
• AWARD: Recipients will be awarded course tuition fees for two years for a master’s degree by research
and three years for a doctoral research degree (an extension is possible for doctoral programs only);
an annual living allowance ($27,082 AUD in 2018) for two years for a master’s degree by research

MELBOURNE INTERNATIONAL UNDERGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIPS
The International Undergraduate Scholarships were established by the University of Melbourne in
recognition of the significant contribution made by international students to the diversity of the university’s
student population.

• ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to citizens of countries other than Australia and New Zealand and
are not a permanent resident of Australia; Applicants must have received an unconditional offer for an
undergraduate course and must have achieved excellent final year school results.
• AWARD: The University awards around 30 scholarships with a $10,000 tuition fee remission in the first
year of an undergraduate degree and around 10 scholarships with a 100% tuition fee remission for
the normal full-time duration of an undergraduate degree. Students who have accepted a $10,000 fee
remission scholarship will also be considered for a 100% fee remission scholarship.

Australia Awards Scholarships are long term development awards administered by the Department of
Foreign Affairs and Trade. They aim to contribute to the long term development needs of Australia’s partner
countries in line with bilateral and regional agreements.

The Australia Awards–Endeavour Scholarships and Fellowships are the Australian Government’s competitive,

The Australian Government Research Training Program (AGRTP) Scholarships (International) are specifically
intended to support international students to undertake a research higher degree at Flinders University.

LA TROBE COLLEGE EXCELLENCE SCHOLARSHIPS
The La Trobe College Excellence Scholarship (CES) is a scholarship available to international students to cover
tuition fees for high-achieving international students accepted into their undergraduate and postgraduate
coursework programs.

• ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to citizens of a country other than Australia or New Zealand who
are applying to start an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework program in 2018.
• AWARD: Recipients will be awarded between 15%, 20% and 25% deduction on annual tuition fees for
the duration of their studies and are limited in number.

MACQUARIE VICE-CHANCELLOR’S INTERNATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP


The Macquarie University Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarship provides a partial tuition fee scholarship

IWC MASTER’S SCHOLARSHIPS


The IWC Scholarships are prestigious scholarships awarded annually to high calibre candidates who clearly
demonstrate potential to become future water leaders to study the IWC Master of Integrated Water Mana-
gement (MIWM) at The University of Queensland in Australia.

• ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to students who meet the following requirements: Must have
completed an undergraduate degree in a related field of study from an internationally recognized
institution; Must have at least two years of professional experience (paid work or volunteering experience)
relevant to the program.

MONASH INTERNATIONAL LEADERSHIP SCHOLARSHIP


The Monash University Scholarship program offers over 200 scholarships for new and current students.

• ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to students who meet the following requirements: Applicants
must be an international student; commencing a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate (coursework)
degree at a Monash campus in Australia (you must have received a full Monash course offer); must not
be the recipient of any other scholarships, grants or financial incentives funded by Monash University

AUSTRALIA RESEARCH TRAINING PROGRAM (RTP) SCHOLARSHIPS
The RTP provides block grants, on a calendar year basis, to higher education providers (HEPs) to support both
domestic and overseas students undertaking research doctorate and research master’s degrees, known as
higher degrees by research (HDRs).

• ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to domestic or overseas students enrolled in an accredited HDR
course of study at an Australian HEP. Applications for RTP Scholarships need to be made directly to
participating universities. Each university has its own application and selection process, please contact
your chosen university.
• AWARD: Students can be offered RTP scholarships for one or more of the following: tuition fees offset,
stipend for general living costs, and allowances related to the ancillary cost of research degrees.

The Victorian International Education Awards are an initiative of the Victorian Government to support the

SCHOLARSHIPS TO STUDY IN CANADA

HUMBER INTERNATINAL ENTRANCE SCHOLARSHIPS


Humber College in Toronto, Canada offers full and partial tuition scholarships to international undergraduate
students. The scholarships are divided throughout their three semester intakes each year (Winter, Summer,
Fall). Applications will be considered based on academics, community involvement, referee/reference letters
and statement of interest.

• ELIGIBILITY: These scholarships are open to students coming directly from high school/secondary
school studies, who are non-transfer students (i.e. haven’t attended college or university, or studied in
Humber’s EAP program), and are unlimited in quantity. Humber awards degree scholarships
automatically to graduating high school students based on academic achievement.
• AWARD: Humber College offers one full tuition scholarship and several scholarship worth from $5,000

INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT RESEARCH AWARDS
The IDRC offers various scholarships for master’s, PhD and post doctoral students to fund work that will
address challenges in developing countries. There are also some scholarships available to Canadian students
to conduct research that will benefit the developing world.

• ELIGIBILITY: These scholarships are open to Canadians, permanent residents of Canada, and citizens of
developing countries pursuing a master’s or a doctoral degree at a recognized university OR who have

ENTRANCE SCHOLARSHIPS (IMES)
IMES is a merit based scholarship for students who are offered admission at the University of British Columbia.
Students must be on a study permit and demonstrate outstanding academic achievement.

UNIVERSITY OF MANITOBA GRADUATE FELLOWHIPS


The Government of Manitoba has provided funds to ensure that Manitoba’s best students continue education
at home, to foster research that leads to economic growth and to attract excellent students to study in Manitoba.

• ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to students with a minimum GPA of 3.75 (above B+) in each of the
last two years of study at a recognized university based on a bachelor’s, master’s graduate diploma or a

GRADUATE GLOBAL LEADERSHIP FELLOWSHIP
The Graduate Global Leadership Fellowships enable promising leaders from developing countries to pursue
doctoral studies at UBC. The fellowships are to support international students showing outstanding
leadership in humanitarian and development work in their home country. Graduate Global Leadership
Fellowships thus open the way to a world-class graduate education for emerging scholars from countries
with developing educational systems.

• ELIGIBILITY: These scholarships are open to students who hold a study permit at the beginning of the
fellowship funding period; are citizens of a developing country at the time of application for admission;
have shown outstanding leadership in humanitarian and development work in their home country;
are starting a PhD or DMA program at the UBC Vancouver campus in January, May, or September; are
starting their first doctoral degree; students with external funding (external scholarships, third-party
sponsorship, etc.) are eligible to apply, but if successful, recipients will have their Graduate Global
Leadership Fellowship funding reduced by the amount of their external funding.

FINCAD established FINCAD’s Women in Finance scholarship to support oustanding women in the field of

UNIVERSIDAD DE ATACAMA ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE SCHOLARSHIP


The Scholarship for Academic Excellence aims to promote the academic and human education of students
with high academic performance in the University selection test, interested in the undergraduate academic
offer of the University of Atacama.

• ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to students from the region or country who have demonstrated
high academic performance interested in pursuing careers taught by the University of Atacama. For full

CHILEAN NELSON MANDELA SCHOLARSHIP
The Chilean International Cooperation Agency (AGCI) is offering scholarships for accredited Spanish-taught
master’s program at Chilean higher education institutions in 2019.

• ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to citizens of South Africa, Mozambique and Angola and preferably
to those who work in the public or academic sectors in their home country.

This scholarship allows high school students from Bolivia to study a degree course at Universidad de
Tarapacá (UTA). The pre-degree courses that can be studied within the framework of the Scholarship are
exclusively those offered by the UTA.

• ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to candidates with Bolivian nationality, as well as permanent
residence in Bolivia. Candidates must also have an excellent academic performance, that is, be among

International students who apply to study at Russian universities are eligible to apply for state funded
scholarships that are a limited number. There is a competitive selection for the scholarship (quota for
international students) which is organized by Rossotrudnichestvo representative offices around the world.
In the countries where Rossotrudnichestvo is not represented, the competitive selection is organized by
Russian diplomatic missions (embassies or consulates).

• ELIGIBILITY: These scholarships are open to certain groups of foreigners, Russians living abroad, and
immigrants. These students can apply for state scholarships on the same terms as Russian citizens once
they pass entrance exams or Uniform State Examination (EGE).

MICROSOFT DISABILITY SCHOLARSHIP


The disAbility Scholarship at Microsoft delivers on the mission of Microsoft’s cross disability employee
resource group to empower and enable people with disabilities. This scholarship enables high school
students with disabilities to go to college and target a career in the technology industry. Microsoft additionally
hopes that this scholarship allows more people living with disabilities to enroll in higher education, and
decrease unemployment levels for this demographic

This scholarship will be awarded to promising high school seniors who plan to attend a vocational or
academic college and have a financial need. The amount of this renewable scholarship to be awarded is
$5,000 per year, up to $20,000. The scholarship is paid through the Seattle Foundation on behalf of the
disAbility Employee Resource Group (ERG) at Microsoft to the recipient’s school’s Financial Aid Office.

• ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to applicants of all nationalities, as long as they are a current high
school senior with living with a disability (as defined by WHO).

ILLINOIS WESLEYAN UNIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIPS
Merit-based scholarships are offered to qualified international applicants with outstanding academic
achievement and test scores on the required entrance exams. These awards range from $10,000 – $25,000
per year and are renewable for up to four years. In some instances, additional help is provided through
student loans and campus employment.

• ELIGIBILITY: These scholarships are open to highly qualified international students with talents, interests,
and academic achievements.

COLUMBIA COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS


All international applicants eligible for full program admission to the traditional Day Campus are encouraged
to compete in Scholarship Day. Scholarship Day is a competition for the top awards as well as additional
leadership, talent, and institutional academic awards. The competition consists of two parts: a written essay
and an interview. Applicants to the College who are unable to attend Scholarship Day in person may compete
by completing their interview portion over the phone or through video conferencing.

• ELIGIBILITY: These scholarships are open to non-native English speakers applying to the main campus
in Columbia, Missouri. Students must also meet minimum eligibility requirements and be attending the
traditional Day Campus full time as a degree seeking student each semester.
• AWARD: Recipients will be awarded a one time cash grant or 15% – 100% tuition reduction.

Scholarship aims to bring awareness and recognition to women working tirelessly across the globe in search
