MES Young Journalists clinches overall champion – DSPC

After 3 years Division Schools Press Conference battle for the Division Schools Press
Conference overall championship, Molinian Young Journalists was announced as the overall
champion based on Division Memorandum 453 s. 2018.
Molino ES garnered 10 gold, five silver, and 11 bronze medals both in group and
individual contest.
Filipino and English Radio Broadcasting Team bagged first place as best group on
September 12, 2018 at Molino Elementary School.
There are a total of 9 participating school both from private and public who tried their
luck for the coming RSPC which will be held at Sta,cruz Laguna.
The winners in Filipino Radio Broadcasting and Script Writing are Ishmael Von Youie
Guillera 1st place best in Script and best Anchor respectively, Matthew Bernal 2nd place best
Anchor, Rycel Given Salutan 1st place best in Technical Application, Jennica Ella Antoinette
Mijares 1st place best Infomercialist , Darla Grace Casares 1st place best News Presenter with
Nolito Deompoc as 2nd place, and Ivan Gelo Troy Escalante as 3rd place.
The winners in English radio broadcasting and Scriptwriting are Rachel Ann Pascua 1st
place best in Script and 1st place best anchor and Adrian Aguilar 2nd place best anchor too 2nd
place. Arcadio Francisco Lumanlan 1st place best in tehnical application, Bianca Parrocha 1st
place best News Presenter with Mark Vincent Recentes as 2nd place, Johana Avril Paguio 3rd
place and Kimberly Worrel as 7th place.
Meanwhile, Molino ES got also tons of medals in the individual category. They are
Carlene Nicole Ola best in Feature Writing English 1st place, Ashley Rhian L. Cardinal best in
Science and Health Writing Filipino 2nd place, Sophia Jabon best in Copy Reading and Headline
WritingFilipino 3rd place, Stephanie Nicole Sale best in Photojournalism English 3rd place,
Samantha Kathline Cilot best in Sports Writing English 4th place, Sofia Karry Maranan best in
News Writing Filipino 4th place, Karen Ubal best in Editorial Cartooning English 5th place,
Deizelle Eirene Peraro Pagsulat ng Lathalain 5th place and Timothy James Recaña Pagsulat ng
Pamlakasan 5th place.
Aside from hailing the Search for Best School Campus Journalism Implementer Stage 2
qualifier, Molino ES was proclaimed as the top-performing School in the City Division of
Bacoor after dominating both individual and group events in the Elementary Level.
Lucky break for Molino, all the 24 Young Journalists who won above will compete in the
Regional Schools Press Conference on November 5 – 7, 2018 at Sta. Cruz, Laguna.
Regional Evaluators Mrs. Nadina Gatan and Ms. Ma. Joan Paula Dino interviewed SPA Jimmy
Narcise and School Principal Dr. Teodoro Gloriani during the Evaluation for Stage 2 Qualifier
for Best in School Campus Journalism Implementer at Molino Elementary School Journalism
