The checklists and data sheets herein or their equivalent should be used to ensure that all required information is
transmitted to and received by the Analog Engineer. The data sources and responsible parties shown are typical for the
installation of a new compressor units; alternates will be arranged as necessary for existing units or for units not owned or
operated by the Company.

Complete this sheet for each stage of compression. Compression Stage No.:
Entry Description
46 Cylinder Bore Diameter (in)
47 Rod Diameter (in)
48 HE Fixed Clearance Vol. (in 3)
49 CE Fixed Clearance Vol. (in 3)
50 HE Fixed Clearance Vol. (%)
51 CE Fixed Clearance Vol. (%)
On Lines 52 through 61, specify unloader volumes for each type of unloader. Unloader volumes would include variable
volume pockets, fixed volume pockets, and split valve yokes. List only the split valve yokes and pockets that are actually
being used for the given "Design" conditions. DO NOT LIST THE MAXIMUM NUMBER OF POCKETS OR SPLIT
VALVE YOKES THAT COULD BE USED.

1. Since the gas passages are the first piping the gas sees when discharged from the cylinder, it is important that the
gas passage casting is represented as near as possible with an equivalent length and cross-section area of pipe.
2. An isometric or a one-line sketch of the internal gas passage and valve locations of each compressor cylinder shall
be provided (where not identical).
3. The Analog Engineer should be advised if a cylinder gas passage cannot be obtained from the compressor cylinder
manufacturer or other source.

1. In order to simulate the phase relationship of two or more compressor cylinders, it is necessary to locate the
"head-end" of Compressor Cylinder Number One at 0° (top dead center).
2. The "head-ends" of all other compressor cylinders shall be shown in relationship to Compressor Cylinder Number
One.
4. The compressor cylinder layout shall be clearly marked for cylinder number and location with relationship to the
flywheel.
