THESIS 2020- TECHNOLOGY

Content and Requirement for Report/ Drawings for Technology

Note: All the aspects below have to be documented in Report and compiled in Drawings to
demonstrate application in your Thesis. Minimum 4 Nos. A1 Drawings. The applications can be
shown through part Sections, Details, Three dimensional view , axonometrics etc with material
specification and application details. A checklist is provided below.

1. Identification of Technology Drivers relevant to the subject of your Thesis.

2. Strategic Framework for Technology ( Active and Passive) adaptation for your Thesis.
3. Selection of Appropriate Technologies for application.
4. Application of Technologies supported by Calculations/Simulation etc. and provision of
the Code.
5. Validation of Sustainable Components (Site and Building Level) using the Edge Software (
Already Discussed in class and made available). The output to be duly documented in
report and represented in Drawings.

The Report/Drawings can be structured in following heads listed below:

1. Sustainability
 All Passive and Active strategies employed in design: Insolation Analysis- Ecotect,
Design of Shading Devises, Detailing for Stack Effect/ Venturi Effect etc.if applicable,
