Phase Comparison Protection
The MiCOM P547 utilises the speed and security of Power Line
Carrier communications to provide a fast and reliable unit
protection relaying system.
The MiCOM P547 is designed to
exploit the benefits of fixed
propagation delays and an
independent communication link,
provided by a power line carrier
channel.
The MiCOM P547 can be used for
protection of HV/EHV lines where a
power line carrier communications
channel exists. A flexible design
allows the relay to be interfaced to
any suitable PLC communication
equipment.
In addition, the relays offer the
