Purpose of scholarship

At Annie’s, we recognize that agriculture contributes to some of our most pressing sustainability
challenges. We also believe that strengthening the food system from the farm up can be a
promising solution to issues ranging from climate change to farmworker justice. We’re
committed to supporting regenerative agriculture that protects and intentionally enhances
natural resources and farm communities.

Through our Sustainable Agriculture Scholarship program, we are thrilled to support students
working to shape the future of the food system through the lens of three regenerative
agriculture principles:
 Building soil health,
 Fostering aboveground biodiversity,
 Promoting resilient farm communities.

We strive to make a positive impact through the foods we make, and we know we can’t change
the food system alone. Through student scholarships, we hope to empower the next generation
of food system leaders to reshape the role that agriculture plays in our environment and in our
communities.
