Funciones e indicaciones
SCREEN (DISPLAY) ANNUNCIATORS
The screen display is used for the “FM1” lighted on means that
display of various pages accessible FM1 has failed

FUNCTION KEYS
INIT A: allows the flight plan to be
initialized and the IRS to be aligned
INIT B: allows the fly crew to initialize
the ZFW and ZFWCG and to do the
fuel planning before engines are
started
FUEL PRED: shows fuel prediction for
the flight and is also used for entering
fuel data once engines are started.
F-PLN: page A displays time, speed
and altitude predictions at each
waypoint of active F-PLAN.
F-PLN: page B shows wind forecast
and estimated fuel on board for each
waypoint of F-PLAN
Both pages also displays the distance,
bearing and track between these
waypoints
DIR: allows modifications of F-PLN by
creating a direct leg from the current
A/C position to selected waypoint.
FUNCTION KEYS
DATA calls a group of monitor
pages such as position monitor,
IRS and GPS monitor. It also calls a
set of reference pages allowing
the interrogation of NAV database
PERF pages allows the crew to
optimize SPD/MACH targets for
each flight phases.
PROG page enable the crew to
monitor progress of flight, to
crosschecked/update the FM
position, to alter aircraft CRZ FL.
RAD NAV displays radio naviads
currently autotuned by the
system. It also allows pilot to
select other navaids
SEC F-PLN allows creation,
initialization and modification of
secondary flight plan
AIRPORT allows crew, on F-PLN
page A to switch between
destination airport, alternate
airport and origin airport

LEFT ANNUNCIATORS
“FAIL”: lighted on mean that the
MCDU has failed
“FM”: comes on with the crew using
the MCDU to display peripherals. This
light tells the pilot that FM has an
important message to deliver
ALPHA-NUMERICAL
KEYBOARD
These keys are used for writing data
in the FMGC vi scratchpad
RIGHT ANNUNCIATOR
Indicates that the pilot should call
up a peripheral linked to the
MCDU (such as ACARS or CFDS)
ADITIONAL FUNCTION
KEYS
CLR allows data, in the scratchpad
(messages or inserted data) or
within certain displayed pages to
be cleared.
OVFY (overfly) allows a selected
waypoint to be overflown
