Insulating foils / blankets

The insulating foil is a protective equipment used in order to avoid the worker’s accidental contact
with live electric installations or equipment. The insulating foil is used in low voltage electrical
installations (Un ≤ 1 kV), in dry weather conditions.
The foil is made of PVC / rubber, it is fastened in the electrical installation with plastic tongs or
insulating magnets. Rubber foils (blankets) are according to CEI 61112, class 0, category A + Z, the
rubber being UV-stabilised, for outdoor use, highly flexible and resistant against tearing and PVC FOILS
perforation.

Insulating knives

Insulating knives are insulating protective devices installed in fuse sockets in cabinets, bays and
distribution boxes of low voltage electrical installations for the electrical separation of the installation.

Insulating knives for HRC fuse sockets are made of red polycarbonate, in three dimensions,
depending on the fuse socket and are provided with metallic fixing lamella that allows the coupling to
protective devices for the handling of HRC fuses.

Insulating plugs are made of red polycarbonate in two constructive dimensions, depending on the
fuse socket type.

By the temporary replacement of fuses, insulating knives allow the OPEN position locking of
electrical circuits, thus preventing the accidental accurrence of voltage at the work site. INSULATING KNIVES FOR HRC
