I was impressed with Kylie’s commitment to her project. To say this young lady was organized, prepared,
and a problem solver would be an understatement. She amazed me each time we met and we met
many times throughout the first semester! Kylie always shared her weekly goals which she had planned
to complete in order to get to her “big picture”. In the past I have had to “push” seniors to their final
project but I never had to do this with Kylie. When she came up against challenges we worked together
to brainstorm ideas but it was Kylie’s decisiveness that made believe she went above and beyond. My
biggest regret was I was not there to see her project come to fruition due to illness. She has learned from
this project and I believe it gave her skills she will use in the future.
