WHAT IS BLOOD?
Blood is a Connective Tissue which circulates in
fluid form in the body.
Function:
ØIt plays important role in clotting of blood.
ACTIVITY:
BLOOD GROUPS:
ØThe two special proteins called Antigens A and Antigens
B present on the surface of RBCs, human blood divided
into four groups called ABO blood groups.

Rh FACTOR
ØAnother factor of blood grouping is Rh factor.
ØIf your blood does contains the protein your blood is
said to be Rh positive (+ve).
Ø If your blood does not contains the protein your blood
is said to be Rh negative (-ve).
Rh FACTOR DIVISIONS
Ø On the basis of Rh factor blood group divided into
following:
Blood is a type of fluid connective tissues.
Blood is divided into three components i.e
Plasma, Corpuscles and Fragments.
RBCs, WBCs are Corpuscles and
Platelets are Fragments.
Blood Divided into two systems i.e ABO & Rh
factor.
