urine,diarrohea,dizziness can be other
svere symptoms.The side effects of
augmentin are vey rare
Contraindications Do not take augmentin of you are allergic
to cephalosporins.Do not take this
medicine if you already have taken
amoxicillin or clavulanic.Do not take
augmentin if you are alreafy taking
warfarin. Be careful if you are taking
taking these drugs already :Probenecid,
Allopurinol,Birth control
pills,Mycophenolate mofetil.
Storage requirements Store in a cool dry place where the
temperature stays below 25°C. Do not
keep medicines in the bathroom or near
a sink. Do not leave it in the car or on
window sills.
Keep your tablets in the blister pack until
it is time to take them. The tablets
should be
used within 30 days of the foil pouch
being opened
Any other information Be careful before taking this tablet if you
are breast feeding or are pregnant.It is
not an addictive drug and does not effect
the driving ability.In case of any allergic
reaction or any side effect rush to your
doctorSwallow the augmentin tablets
whole with a glass of water.In case of
overdose you might get dirrohea or
nausea and in that case contact the
doctor.Drink penty of water and juice
almost 6-8 glass daily

FLAGYL
Medication’s use and expected benefits Treats infections of the blood, brain,
and action lung, bones, genital tract, pelvic area,
stomach and intestines. Treats gum
ulcers and other dental infections. Treats
infected leg ulcers and pressure sores
.Prevent infections after surgery It works
by killing bacteria and parasites that
cause infections in your body
Dose and administration timetable. For adults dults :The initial dose is
800mg, After 8 hours take another dose
of 400mg and repeat this dose every 8
hours
For children Your doctor will work out
how much your child should take
depending on their weight. Repeat the
dose every 8 hours. If your child is a baby
under 8 weeks of age, your doctor will
give them one daily dose or two separate
doses 12 hourly

almost time for your next dose, skip the

to make up for a forgotten dose
Side effects/ severe adverse effects Stop taking flagyl if you observe any sort
of swelling in your hands feet or
lips.Moreover stop the use of drug if you
have problems in swalloing,breathing or
fell itchy.It can cause damage to the
brain.Moreoover you can have skin
rashes.blisters and bumps in the skin
which can be accompanied by fever.
Precautions/warnings Don’t take this drug if you are allergic to
metronidazole, nitroimidazoles.Be
careful while taking flagyk if you had a
liver,nerveous or kidney problems. Do
not drink any alcohol while you are
taking Flagyl and for 48 hours after
finishing your course. If you do so you
will have svere side effects
Contraindications Be careful while taking Flagyl if you are
taking drugs like
warfarin,lithium,phenobarbital,5fluroura
cil,busulfan,ciclosporin,disulfiram,
metronidazole, nitroimidazoles.
Any other information You should not take flagyl during
pregnancy while during breat feeding
you shold be careful while taking this
medicine. This drug can also cause
hallucinations eye sight problems and
fits.Take the tablets with a glass of water
do not chew it.In case of kidney or liver
problems consult your doctors.

IBUPROFEN
Medication’s use and expected benefits This medicine rheumatic and muscular
and action pain, backache  neuralgia (nerve pain) 
headache, migraine  dental pain,
period pain  fever (high temperature) 
the symptoms of colds and flu.
These medicines work by changing how
the body responds to pain, swelling and
high temperature
Dose and administration timetable. Adults, the elderly and children over 12
years
Take 1 to 2 tablets up to 3 times a day, as
required. Swallow tablets with a glass of
water preferably with or after food. Do
not take more often than every 4 hours.
Do not exceed 6 tablets in 24 hours. In
Adults: Do not take Ibuprofen 200mg
Tablets for longer than 10 days unless
your doctor tells you to.. Do not give to
children under 12 years. For children
between 12 and 18 the medicine should
not be taken for more than 3 days.
Minimum time duration required to Ibuprofen takes 20 to 30 minutes to
show therapeutic benefit and what to do work if you take it by mouth. It takes 1 to
if no effect take place. 2 days to work if you put it on your skin.If
no effect takes place consult your doctor
or pharmacist.
What to do if a dose is missed. Skip the missed dose and return to your
normal dosing schedule.

movement.Do not take ibuprofen tablets
if you are in the last 3 months of
pregnancy. This drug can affect fertility
in women. Be careful while using oher
drugs with Ibprofen because they can
efect this drug or this drug can effect
other drugsThere is a risk of renal
impairment
Contraindications Do not take these drugs with lithium,
zidovudine, quinolone
antibiotic,anticoagulants,blood presssure
reducing drugs,corticosteroids 
methotrexate ,cardiac
glycoside,cyclosporin and tacrolimus
Precautions/warnings These types of drugs can cause heartr
stroke or heart attack if taken in high
dose so don’t exceed the dose more tha
your doctor has told you.Moreover if you
have stomach problems or liver related
problems don not use the medicne
moreover be careful while using this
medicine if you are taking aspirin more
than 75 mg per day

Aspirin
Medication’s use and expected benefits Aspirin is used to reduce fever and
and action relieve mild to moderate pain from
conditions such as muscle aches,
toothaches, common cold, and
headaches.
It may also be used to reduce pain and
swelling in conditions such as arthritis
Aspirin is salicylate and a nonsteroidal
anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works
by blocking a certain natural substance in
your body to reduce pain and swelling.
Dose and administration timetable. The dosage and length of treatment are
based on your medical condition and
response to treatment.Do not take more
medication or take it for longer than
recommended unless directed by your
doctor.You should not take this
medication for self-treatment of pain for
longer than 10 days.You should not use
this drug to self-treat a fever that lasts
longer than 3 days
Minimum time duration required to  500 milligram dose of new aspirin starts

hearing, ringing in the ears, change in the
amount of urine, persistent or severe
nausea/vomiting, unexplained tiredness,
dizziness, dark urine, yellowing
eyes/skin.
This drug may rarely cause serious
bleeding from the stomach/intestine or
other areas of the body.

Storage requirements Store at room temperature between 59-


86 degrees F (15-30 degrees C) away
from moisture and light. Do not store
above 104 degrees F (40 degrees C).

Contraindications This drug should not be used with
ketorolac  mifepristone high blood
pressure drugs warfarin,
heparin,diabetes drugs,valproic acid,
herbal medications such as ginkgo
biloba,cetaminophen

Paracetamol
Medication’s use and expected benefits . They are used for the relief of mild to
and action moderate pain and feverish conditions
such as headache, toothache, colds,
influenza, joint pain and period pains.
Dose and administration timetable. Adults including the elderly and children
over 16 years: 1 or 2 tablets every 4 to 6
hours as required, to a maximum of 8
tablets in 24 hours. Children 10-15
years: 1 tablet every 4-6 hours as
required, to a maximum of 4 tablets in
24 hours.
Children under 10 years: Not
recommended
The medicine should be swalloed with
water
Minimum time duration required to . Paracetamol begins to ease pain and

bruise more easily or have more
infections, talk to your doctor.
