CISF Examination, 2018 –Declaration of Result of Paper-II to call
candidates for Medical Examination- reg.

Result of PET/PST of SI in Delhi Police, CAPFs and ASI in CISF


Examination, 2018 was declared by the Commission on 09.09.2019, wherein
4418 male and 332 female candidates (i.e. total 4750 candidates) were
declared qualified for appearing in Paper-II.

2. 33 additional candidates were allowed by the Commission to appear in


Paper-II of the examination on the directions of various courts. Accordingly,
total 4783 (4750+33) candidates were scheduled for the Paper-II which was
conducted on 27.09.2019. A total of 4541 candidates appeared in this
examination.

3. Normalisation of marks has not been done for this paper (i.e. Paper-II),
as the paper for all eligible candidates was conducted in a single shift only.

4. Under Para-9 of the notice of examination (i.e. Scheme of examination)


it is mentioned that “the Commission at its discretion may fix qualifying marks
in Paper-I, Paper-II and any part(s) of Paper-I”. Therefore, the Commission
has fixed a minimum qualifying cut-off of 30% (i.e. 60 marks) for UR, 25% (i.e.
50 marks) for OBC and 20% (i.e. 40 marks) for all other categories, in Paper-II
of the examination.

5. The candidates who were declared qualified under various lists in


Paper-I of the examination, have now been considered for selection in Paper-
II under those respective lists only.

6. Representations received from the candidates regarding tentative


Answer Keys were carefully examined and answer keys were suitably
modified wherever required and finalized thereafter. The final answer keys
have been used for evaluation of performance of candidates in the
Examination.

7. Based upon the number of tentative vacancies and the number of


candidates appeared in Paper-II (i.e. 4541), the Commission has fixed a
uniform ratio of 1:3 (vacancy:candidates) for qualifying candidates in Paper-II
for appearing in DME, wherever available.
8. Based on the cut-off fixed by the Commission (Paper-I +Paper-II),
category-wise details of 317 (List-I) female candidates and 3467 (List-II –
3063, List III – 369 and List IV - 35) male candidates qualified for appearing in
Detailed Medical Examination (DME) are as under:

10. Schedule of Medical Examination will be intimated to the candidates in


due course. Candidates are advised to follow the websites of Regional Offices
of the Commission regarding issue of Admission Certificate for Medical
Examination.

11. Marks of the candidates will be placed on the Commission's website in


due course.
