Uploading List of OEM


Variant Parameter Sets for DTCO Rel. 2.0a and 2.1 to CTC II
(Release 4)
Precondition: CTCII has been updated to software version 2.10 (or later) and
the Licence for the universal DTCO® has been uploaded.

Step 1 - Connect CTC II to your PC


a) Connect the CTC II to your PC using a RS232 Cable from the DTCO Rel.2.0a
Universal Parameter Update Kit (A2C59515100) – See Service Information Note 45

b) If your PC does not have a serial port then you will need to use the Digitus ‘USB
to Serial Convertor’ and ensure that the appropriate drivers are loaded for your PC
operating system. (Drivers are located on the CD provided)

Step 2 - Run Universal DTCO Software


1) Locate <contram_01.03.exe> software in the local directory on your hard disk

2) Start the software by using Windows Explorer i.e. “\contram_01.03.exe”. The


following dialogue box will then appear

3) Press Settings button and select the correct COM port (the same COM port as the
RS232 cable connection)

4) Press the ‘File Path’ button and select the path for the <Uni_CTCII_Rev_2.10-2.11-
2.12_for_2.0-2.1_E.zip> file and click on <Open>

5) Turn on the CTC II by pressing any key and check that the battery level is OK (or
connect to power supply unit)

6) Prepare the CTC II to receive data by selecting ‘ADJUSTMENTS’ from the main
menu

7) Then select ‘UNIV.DTCO FROM PC’

(The internal memory for programming the universal device is reset and the CTCII is
prepared for the reception of the new parameter files)

8) Click the <Start> button and the parameter lists will then be loaded on the CTC II

9) After completion a text box indicates that ‘Transmission was successful’

10) The CTC II displays that the transmission has finished:

11) Disconnect RS232 cable from CTC II and PC
