MCC ACB Closing order from GCP

Introduction

As known for all EDG is designed for Plant safe SD As the plant Main Sources Outage

The EDG Began to Running with Air Aux System which Consist in
- Air starting System will Be driven from Air Starting Compressor Driven By Engine
Through Batteries
- Fuel Air Pump as No Electrical Source SD A

As Soon As the Engine Running All Aux should be supplied by Electrical source from EDG
itself and Air Fuel Pump disconnected

At Black out the MCC Main ACB tripped as UV Trip without Lockout Relay activated (Only
OFF)

A closing Order NO contact is Achieved By GCP PLC and sent To ACB control CT to close
the CB

Conditions
Following Condition will be Available to achieve the closing order

1- EDG Power ON Condition EDG Running and at Least Reach to 90% of its rated Voltage
through 84G1 (O/U voltage Relay set at 0.9 Rated) then to 52GA Relay contact to PLC as a
Input contact

2- MCC ACB is opened with No tripped As AUX contact is transferred From ACB Status
itself

3- Gen VCB is closed as AUX contact is transferred from ESG

4- MCC Power On through Checking the voltage for Incoming Lines Voltage is Returned
To MCC Incoming Cables Relay AU1 is Energized (Voltage Relay set at 90%) as ACF Relay is
Activated IN MCC panel

The Order is as Relay Output from PLC as K60 Is Energized MCC ACB

Gen Power ON Gen VCB closed ACB is Opened MCC power ON

Check Relays 84G1,52GA LED Check from ACB itself AU1 and ACF Check
