What is the meaning of terms “typical behavior” and “atypical behavior”.

Provide, at least, three examples of each term.

Typical behavior – the definition of typical is a characteristic or behavior that is

normal and expected for a given person or thing or in a given situation. An
example of something that would be described as typical is your typical boring
day at work where you do the same things you do every other day.

- Going to the university everyday

- Going for lunch with friends

Atypical behavior - A psychological condition or behaviour that departs from the

norm or is harmful and distressing for the individual or those around them. These
types of behaviours usually violate what society feels is appropriate. Defining
what is atypical is a judgement.

Unusual eating habits,

abnormal sleep patterns,

temper tantrums,

aggression to self.

Write 7 examples of individual differences among students.

 physical characteristics
 intelligence
 perception
 gender
 ability
 learning styles

It is important for teachers to know variables such as physical

characteristics, intelligence, perception, gender, ability, learning styles,
which are individual differences of the learners. An effective and productive
learning-teaching process can be planned by considering these individual
differences of the students. Since the learners' own learning speeds and
interests vary, these characteristics should be taken into consideration by
the teacher. The aim of this research is to determine how science teachers
are bringing out the individual differences of students during the learning-
teaching process. Qualitative research method is used in this research and
case is designed according to phenomenology. According to research
findings, half of interviewed science teachers stated that individual
differences are important for determining the learning styles of students.
Again, half of the teachers emphasized that students identify their
individual differences with the help of tests, homework and activities
during the teaching and learning process. Teachers also stated that in order
to design the learning-teaching process appropriate to the individual
differences of the learners, the learners would make active participation in
the lesson and the individual differences could be supported by increasing
the experiment and school trips.

Which types of factors influence individual differences?

Two major factor that influence the individual differences are Heredity
[ therefore intelligence or mental ability, physical condition, sex, aptitude
and special talent, age, temperament, emotional intelligence, criminal
tendency, effort making capacity, ]
and Environment [ therefore family background, community background,
school] which result in differences in personality of the individual.

What is the definition of learning style? How many learning styles are
described in the scientific literature?

The term “learning styles” speaks to the understanding that every student
learns differently. Technically, an individual's learning style refers to the
preferential way in which the student absorbs, processes, comprehends
and retains information.
These are the most widespread and common learning styles
Visual (spatial):You prefer using pictures, images, and spatial
understanding.
Aural (auditory-musical): You prefer using sound and music.
Verbal (linguistic): You prefer using words, both in speech and writing.
Physical (kinesthetic): You prefer using your body, hands and sense of
touch.

Describe the obtained result. Are you agree with the provided result?
Why and why not?

Result:
Interpersonal intelligence is the capacity to understand and interact
effectively with others. This intelligence involves the ability to discern the
moods, temperaments, dispositions, motivations, and desires of other
people and respond appropriately. This is the "people-person"
intelligence. It is evident in successful teachers, social workers, actors, or
politicians, and operates primarily through person-to-person relationships
and communication. It involves skills such as effective communication,
working together with others towards a common goal, and noticing
distinctions among individuals. If one has high interpersonal intelligence,
he or she is probably popular and has many friends. As a child, it is likely
that Interpersonal people were often the leader of a group and were able
to organize and influence peers with skill. Their talent for interpreting and
understanding the feelings of others makes them a good mediator and a
potential earpiece for many of their friends. They learn best when
involved in team activities and cooperative ventures.

I am strongly agree with my result because I like a lot to speak with people ,
to try to understand what is in their minds, and try to help them if needed.

How individual differences predict behavior?

Individual differences in human behavior are ubiquitous; and many
personality psychologists understand their task as including the description
and explanation of these differences. But personality psychology is, or at
least should be, more than the study of individual differences. On these
points, Lamiell and I are apparently in agreement. Lamiell argues that if the
goal of personality psychology is, with general psychology, explaining the
“...behavior/psychological functioning of individuals” then the study of
individual differences as typically pursued by contemporary personality
psychologists has little to contribute to the endeavor.

Individual differences form a personality because a person is highly

influenced first of all by his or hers genetic traits and then by environment
in which he or she activates.
