What is the value in studying an Oxbridge Academy Short Learning

Programme in OHS?

Once you have completed your OHS course at Oxbridge Academy, you will have a basic theoretical
understanding of the relevant occupational health and safety principles. You will also be equipped
with some or all of the skills that you need to take up the role of a safety representative within an
organisation. In addition, you will also have the knowledge and skills required to assist with various
health and safety-related aspects in the workplace.

Please note: The role of a safety representative is not always a full-time job. In some industries, it
is something that you do in addition to your normal job.
These courses will introduce you to different aspects of health and safety legislation and compliance
requirements and can also help you to qualify for membership at a professional body. Becoming a
member of a professional body like Saiosh would not only establish you as a professional in the
field, but also give you more opportunities in terms of career growth.

Studying an Oxbridge Academy Short Learning Programme in OHS is therefore a good idea if you
are currently a member of a health and safety committee at work (or would like to become a
member of such a committee in the future), if you work in human resources, if you run your own
business, or if you are considering starting up your own business (and hiring employees) in the
future.
