GUIDELINES FOR THE ORAL ARUGUMENT

A. Before the Meeting:

All participants, justices and counsels alike are enjoined to wear court attire,
preferably, a business coat, for purposes of uniformity

Please start setting up your connection well before the start of the meeting
which shall be at 11PM tonight.

B. During the Oral Arguments:

The oral arguments shall focus only on the matter of the propriety of the
TRO/PI.

- FLOW OF THE ORAL ARGUMENTS -

1. One representative from each party will present their:


a. opening statement
b. arguments
c. summary

for 15 minutes, starting with the petitioner then followed by the respondents.

2. After a party's delivery of their oral arguments, the Justices shall be given
the opportunity to ask her questions in relation to the arguments presented in
the orals, as well as those contained in their pleadings.

3. Each Justice shall be allowed to ask at least 3 questions from any member
of a party.

C. Trouble shooting

Each team shall be responsible in testing and procuring a stable connection


for the meeting.

Resort may be had to audio-only participation should it prove beneficial to


one's connectivity.

Should the person presenting or answering questions lose connectivity, such


person may, by way of a regular voice call, deliver his/her
presentation/answers by calling such member with a stable connection, who,
in turn shall voice-in such call into the meeting (e.i. call on loud speaker so
it can be heard in the meeting).

If the above measures fail, other team members shall continue the
presentation of their case. This, however, shall only be a last resort in order
to prevent any one member from losing his/her opportunity to comply with
course requirements.
