the work of my dream

Choosing a profession is one of the most important things, which influence on all our lives. Nowadays everybody’s
priority is money. So almost everyone try to choose well paid jobs: jobs connected with business, IT, politics and so
on. But in my opinion, people should choose a profession basing on their talents and preferences.
Talking about me, the last year was difficult because I couldn’t decide who I want to be. So I decided to enter an
Institute of the Ministry of internal Affairs, to be honest, I still want to work in MIA. And I even started to collect
documents. But my career ended when I passed a military medical examination. Actually, I didn’t pass it because the
ophthalmologist said that my vision is pretty bad. She didn’t allow me to enter the institute. This made me really
upset. But in few months I understood that I won’t be to study there because it's physically difficult. And I decided to
enter this university because I thought that it’s not that bad to interpreter or a teacher.
It’s good to be interpreter because you can travel and at the same time you can work. But it only works when you’re
a freelancer. Then you have a lot of free time. A translator is a person with truly encyclopedic knowledge. In the
sense that he knows a little bit, but almost everything that exists in this world. And this is because he is constantly
faced with some new topics. Quite high salaries. They cannot be compared with the income of TOP managers in oil
companies, but they are high compared to the national average. Moreover, with experience and advanced training,
you will be able to apply for a salary increase. A real opportunity for emigration. Translators especially often use
special programs, complete master's degrees abroad, receive grants and scholarships from foreign universities, as
they are fluent in the language and successfully pass testing. This kind of work is also interesting because a person
has the opportunity to communicate with a variety of people. Usually they are representatives of other cultures who
have something to share with those who are willing to listen to them.
To sum up, we can say that a translator is a promising profession. A person who has received the appropriate
education can develop in the right direction and achieve their goals.
Also, working as teacher is not bad as many people think. I would like to be a teacher because I like to teach
someone, to explain smth, I like to see the moment when person finally understand smth thanks to me. I understand
that this job isn’t easy, but I’ll try handle with each difficulty. Of course I need to know a lot of things to teach
someone so I’m trying to do my best and learn as much as I can, because I want to be a professional in my field.
But to be honest, as I said I still want to work at ministry of internal affairs, so most likely, after graduation I’ll get a
second higher education and maybe someday I’ll work I will work in the investigative Committee.
