Assignments—Provides activities designed to correspond to specific objectives and that

reinforce the information provided. Assignments often require higher-level skills such as
diagnosis and problem solving. They provide an opportunity for skill practice without risking
the learner’s health or safety. Examples of assignments are: drawing or painting, writing an
essay, taking photographs/video using a mobile device, additional exercises etc. The giving
of assignment is optional.

Answer Key—For teacher’s use; provides the key for all of the assignments and other
activities in the material. This may be included in the module or may remain with the teacher. If
there will be an opportunity to check and give feedback to the learners, then answer keys may
remain with the teacher.

NOTES from the RO LRMDS:

1. The activities in the module may be taken from the Daily Lesson Plans. Additional
activities/materials may be provided.
2. The design of the module attempts to be adaptive to different learning modalities (online,
face-to-face, blended). The writer is given the freedom to choose or provide activities; whatever is
suitable, available and accessible.

3. The approximation of completion time for each module will depend on the grade level.

Key Stage 1: 20-30 minutes per module

Key Stage 2: 30-60 minutes per module

Key Stage 3-4 : 60-80 minutes per module
