We are now taking student applications at the Corsicana, Mexia, and Ellis County
campuses. Full time day classes are scheduled Monday –Thursday 7:30 am – 5:00 pm.
Evening classes are available at the Corsicana campus from 5 pm -10 pm Monday –
Thursday. Additionally, part time and high school dual credit enrollment is available at all
locations. Space is limited. Placement in the program is on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Steps to getting in the program:
1. Apply for admission to Navarro College via the Registrar’s office and
meet all requirement set forth by the college.
2. Apply for financial aid or loans via the Navarro College Financial Aid
Office.
3. Return the Texas Cosmetology Student Permit application with $25
money order, made payable: TDLR , to any Cosmetology location or
Navarro College Campus or Mail to: Navarro College Cosmetology
Program, 3500 W 7th Suite 31 Corsicana TX 75110.
4. Indicate which campus and which program time you will be attending.(
For example: full time day at the Corsicana location)
5. The Cosmetology Department Chair will register you for classes.
6. Pay for classes by the deadline. Call cashiers office for tuition deadlines
(903-874-6501).
7. Purchase a book bundle from the bookstore and bring the first day of
class.
8. Purchase a kit from the bookstore and bring your receipt to the
cosmetology department to receive your kit.
9. These are the materials needed for the first day of school :
3 ring binder, 1 ½ to 2 inches
Paper
Dividers
1 plain brown clip board
Pens to include red ones for grading
One pack color highlighters
One silver permanent metallic marker
One black permanent marker

1 pack map colors
Driver license or copy

exams and prepare you for the salon. Once you are licensed cosmetologist your career

cosmetology, provide advanced salon prevalent education and uphold the highest
standards of excellence in our faculty, staff, students, and educational programs.
Our educational programs use resources from some of the leading companies in the Hair
Industry like Matrix, Toni & Guy, and Pivot Point, just to name a few.
Cosmetology Program
Full-time - 1500 Hours / 3 semesters
Part-time - 1500 Hours / 6 semesters
Cosmetology is an exciting, fast-paced career that is constantly evolving with new ideas,
techniques and equipment. Cosmetologists work with a variety of people each day,
assisting them with their beauty needs.
Course covers:
• Hairstyling/design
• Haircutting/techniques
• Skin care/secrets
• Nail care/knowledge
Navarro Cosmetology offers both theory and practical instruction. The clinical area is well
equipped for hands-on instruction in all areas of cosmetology. A library/media source area
offers books and videotapes on cosmetology basics, as well as on more advanced areas of
this field of study.
