Model Fix 3D Art Test

In this test we are looking for proof of skill in touching up photorealistic

models which specifically showcase your mastery of modeling, materials,
texturing of a real product, and attention to detail.

Please address all of the QA comments on each model provided to the

best of your ability, paying attention to and addressing any other small
details which will enhance overall photorealism.

Be sure to highlight your technical skills in modeling. Pay special attention

to scale, accuracy, detailing, and materials. We want to see your ability to
increase the quality of the models provided, getting them to a point where
they are photoreal and accurate enough to be used in place of a
photograph to fully inform a customer’s purchasing decision.

Be sure to include in your submission:

• Accurate scale, proportions, and surfacing.
• Quality lighting, materials, and rendering.

We use 3ds Max and V-Ray for all of our modeling and rendering. If you
do not have access to these programs, please use the software which
best showcases your 3D modeling, materials, lighting and rendering skills.
Acceptable modeling programs include, but are not limited to, Polygon
modeling programs such as:
•Maya
•Blender
•Zbrush

Unacceptable software includes Parametric modeling programs like:

•CAD
•Sketchup
