Specif ications
The cross connect panel shall consist of a
lactory finished welded steel wall mounted
assembly containing all necessary plugs, jacks,
and circuit breakers to provide a flexible
inter-connecting system between load circuits
and control outputs. The framework shall con-
sist of welded steel members completely cov-
ered on all exposed surfaces with 0.125"
(3.2 mm) aluminum panels. Exterior finish
shall be baked enamel.
A. The jack panels shall be of 0.125" (3.2 mm)
aluminum with epoxy f inish suitably engraved
for identification. Jacks shall be Strand Cen-
tury Saf-T-Patch@ U.L. approved, in which con-
tact surface is solid brass and pressure is
maintained by a steel spring. The spring shall
not carry current or create any arc. No split
receptacles will be accepted. The front of the
jack shall be an insulating bead which pre-
vents electrical contact except by a plug thrust
into the lack, the depth of the bead and insu-
lated portion of the plug tip being such that
an operator cannot receive a shock when in-
serting or removing plug f rom the Jack. There
shall be jacks for each dimmer output and for
