Specifications
This unit shall be a 500W/1000W ellipsoidal ref lector spotlight with a medium prefocus socket to F- 19,,---_-r
accommodate an axially mounted tungsten-halogen lamp, a flatted ellipsoidal specular Alzak
processed aluminum reflector, four push shutters and a template slot, all mounted within a
rugged steel housing.
The single 10" x 12" (254 mm x 305 mm) stepped lens shall be mounted in a steel lens tube
designed for sharp or soft defrn ition of the beam without openi ng a slot for passage of stray light
rays or allowing extraneous internal reflections from the lens tube. This tube shall be fitted with
heavyduty colorframe holders. The housing shall be of not less than 20 gauge steel.
The lamp ch imney and cap shall be of cast alu minu m and shall permit ready removal of the bu rner
housing by means of a captive, spring loaded, winged fastener requiring no more than one-
quarter turn from lock to release.

The shutters and gate assembly shall be of special heat resisting alloys. Adequate ventilation
shall be provided in the form.of openings in the body completely surrounding the reflector, the

Each unit shall be supplied with a malleable iron clamp to grip up to 2" (51 mm) pipe, a strap iron
yoke with mounting holes and locking mechanism and 3' (0.9 m) asbestos leads. Exterior finish (864 mm - 965 mm) (305 mm)
shall be baked enamel and the entire unit shall be U.L. listed and CSA approved in Canada.
