1 General

This standard refers to the results of a study conducted by the Secretariat of the
Supreme Commission for Industrial Security on the security protection provided for
Saudi Aramco's vital Marine Petroleum installation per SAES-O-100 paragraph 1.3.
This standard shall be used in conjunction with letter F/1400/609 of the Saudi Arabian
government Supreme Commission for Industrial Security.

2 Amendments

No amendments to letter F/1400/609 (7/19/80) have been issued.

3 Commentary

Recommendations set forth in letter F/1400/609 can be accommodated in various ways.

Liaison by the proponent with the Manager of the Loss Prevention Department and
General Manager of the Industrial Security Operations is necessary to satisfy the intent
of the recommendations set forth in letter F/1400/609.

3.1 The proponent should be concerned with items 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 of letter

F/1400/609.

3.2 Items 1, 2, 3, 10 are the responsibility of Saudi Aramco Industrial Security.
