Conditions and General Exclusions

1. Genuine GEW spare and consumable parts must be used at all times.
2. Warranty is validated on receipt of commissioning results, commissioning
photos and confirmation of installation. These must be approved within
3 months of date of despatch
3. UV system must be maintained in accordance with GEW manual.
4. The entire system, including the exhaust ducting, must not be modified.
5. The warranty is valid only when the system is permanently connnected to
the GEW continuous monitoring system.
6. If the UV system is to be moved, either to another machine, site or
location within the same facility, GEW must be notified so that the
system can be re-commissioned immediately.
7. If requested, photographs of failed parts must be sent to GEW. Parts
may need to be returned for inspection.
8. GEW warranty does not cover cleaning of dirty components or damage
due to: poor maintenance; corrosion; accidents; physical impact; misuse;
unauthorised modification; ink or varnish spills; airborne contamination;
aggressive cleaning fluids; ingress of liquids into the system (including
condensation).
9. GEW warranty does not cover consumable parts of the system
10. For water-cooled accessories, the chilled water circuit must be pH-neutral
and maintained using the GEW-approved corrosion inhibitor and anti-
freeze package.
11. Nitrogen-inerting ancillaries – 12 months’ warranty only.
