I. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

We are living in a society where people like to eat an innovated foods to try something new
and one of the reason of it is because it is the “trend”. People follow trends. Chocolate falls
under the category of most craved products. Chocolate helps in raising serotonin in the brain.
This hormone helps people to have feeling of relaxation and calmness (Becket, 2000)

Sprinkle Chocolate Ball is one of these innovated food. It is a ball-shaped chocolate which is
sweet and surely people love it. Sprinkle Chocolate Ball is perfect gift to your kids,
boyfriend/girlfriend, your families, friends and any of your love ones on Valentines or
Christmas. It is also a good desert for Occasions such as Birthday Parties and Family
Gathering. It is also ate on Family Dinners. And it is also can be your snack.

II. CURRENT MARKETING SITUATION

Sprinkle Chocolate Balls’ main goal is to make children and/or people to have a desert/snack
that is something new to them. It offers a sweet desert/snack that surely children and/or
people will love it. Since the business is near at the school, it is easy to market the product.

Differentiating myself from other chocolate ball businesses has given me the ability to
compete effectively on the quality of the product with the already entrenched competition.
The Sprinkle Chocolate Ball business is rapidly being accepted and loved by the customers,
which is the students and children, so there are such competitors. Children love to eat sweet
foods/snacks, they are willing to spend their money just to buy this product. And also, their
parent is willing to give them money and let them buy.

III. SWOT ANALYSIS

 Having the quality over the quantity to satisfy customers
 Innovative ways in selling the product

WEAKNESSES

 Lack of experience on handling a business


 Low strategy on thinking and planning
 Many gaps on competitive strengths
 High effect on core activities, have no time to make product

 To build a strong and loyal relationship to customers


 Having many friends to help me buy and sell the product
 Having a good location of market

THREATHS

 Competition from other teams, competitors are very competitive


 There are many obstacles to be face because of sole-proprietorship
 Have poor management skills

IV. OBJECTIVES AND ISSUES

The objectives of Sprinkles Chocolate Ball is to develop an increase in sales while achieving
a status quo state or decrease in marketing expenses. Another is to reach profitability within a
month

There are some issues that involved this Sprinkle Chocolate Ball. These are the following:

 Will there be a continuity demand of the product?


 Will the popularity of the product continue to grow?
 Will the cost of expenses decreases or increases or nothing will change?
 Will the climate be stable?

Since I am still a student, it is very hard to produce or make the product on time, because I
also have many things to do such as schoolwork, homework, and household works. Also,
there are many hindrance in marketing the since it only focused on the school. One of these is
the weather, it has a big effect in this business. If there is a typhoon students and children
have no classes. Another one is the school events, especially if the event is to be held at
another school. Students and children have no classes again. Therefore, there will be no
market. But in able to surpass this challenges or issues, I have to purchase an equipment
which is innovated that can produce a good quality product. I also have to continue marketing
the product even on vacations and no classes.

VI. MARKETING STRATEGY


The marketing strategy of Sprinkle chocolate Ball will be done through a variety of methods.
The first method will be strategically place an advertisements. One of the most place that will
be used for advertisement is the Social Medias, most specially Facebook. This will be the
main source of advertisement because many people have an account on Facebook and uses it.

Another source of marketing will be strategic relationship between friends and barkdadas.
They will simply tell other people that sprinkle Chocolate Ball is existing. They can help me
to market it. And also, they can simple purchase the product.

Marketing Mix

The marketing mix is a set of marketing tools that the firm uses to pursue its marketing
objectives in the target market. It has a four broad levels or 4P’s which are the Product, Price,
Place and Promotion.
