Journal 6

In week six, which was the last week of the online teaching practice. I focused on the
tasks that I have selected in the previous week to finish them. I had to prepare a lesson
for one of the tasks, which was "online story time". I prepared an online story with
some relevant activities to it and I asked my colleagues to help. They assisted me by
attending my online story session in which I taught them the lesson because I did not
have the opportunity to have my story session with my MST's students.

However, the duties that I carried on during the last week of the online teaching
practice were working on my TP tasks. Additionally, collaborating and attending with
my colleagues in some online sessions to practice the online teaching more. Besides
that, I communicated with my MST to discuss about her daily duties to include them
in my e-portfolio. Moreover, the most important thing I learned in this week, which I
learned it from the discussion with my MST, was time management. She told me that
it is important to create a timetable that organize the tasks and duties that I will carry
on during the online teaching. This will help me to know exactly what I need to do in
each day.

Furthermore, she said that planning and preparing for the online lessons is important
as well, in which I consider my learning objectives and prepare the appropriate
activities that allow me achieving my objectives. Therefore, in my future online
teaching, I will consider her advice. I will ensure creating a timetable for my online
teaching practice. Also, I will always prepare and plan for my online lessons to
achieve my learning objective affectively by the end of these lessons.
