Purpose:  to give you the opportunity to analyze, synthesize, and reflect on an aspect of the

learning in the course.  

Assignment: You have a choice in the topic and format of the synthesis project; you will select
from among several possible options for the role, audience, format, and topic from the “RAFT”
organizer provided.  These topics draw on at least two additional sources (research, data,
theory) for the project beyond what has been provided/required by the course. We provided
options in a graphic organizer, but feel free to do a different combination of roles, audiences,
formats, and topics. 

Components:  
a. The product in the format chosen by the student (the “F” of the RAFT)
b. A bibliography is expected along with the product (APA format).  
 
Submission Information: Students will submit their topic for approval by (Insert Date) before
class in a Google form assigned through Classroom. Students will submit their RAFT project
in Classroom by (Insert Date).
