Listening Lesson Plan

Title: The Clock Symphony Grade Level: 1 Grade or Kindergarten

Materials needed:
No materials needed

Procedure:

A.S: What does a clock tell us ? What are they?

1. Organize the students in a circle


2. Ask students questions about the part of a three
3. Chooses students who are raising their hands to answer the questions of the
parts of a three
4. Explains the parts of the three by showing them with her hands and body
5. Makes students do the forms of the three
6. Now sings for the students the song and the rhythm of it
7. All the students sing together the song
8. Asks students questions about the song
a. What was the song about?
b. Do you know all the parts of a three?
c. Can you sing the song without any help?
9. Introduces the children to their activity which is to learn the parts of a three
10. Separates the song into sections, and have the students memorize it.
11. Sings sections of the song and have students repeat it back.
12. Now that students have learn the song they sing it all together and perform
the parts of a three.

Closure:
Next time we will be learning a song with new song.

Educational Objective: By the end of this lesson, students will have learned . . .
How to distinguish what the song is about (aka the moves of the three), memorize
the song and be able to sing it with movement.
