Organizes and teaches ALS learners group and ensures attainment for the ALS learners on the acquisition of A&E Accreditation

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


1. Coordinates with community leaders to identify potential learners
2. Conducts regular literacy mapping
3. Advocates ALS programs and network with other Gos, NGOs and other POs
4. Conducts evaluation to determine the entry and exit level of learners using the Functional Literacy Test (FLT)
5. Determines learning needs of learners using the Individual Learning Agreement
6. Conducts learning sessions using ALS learning modules and supplementary materials for at least three months in a year
7. Devises plans and implements them in order to sustain gains of learners from the ALS program
8. Conducts home visits, individual tutorials, counseling and other need-driven activities in an effort to retain and win the learners back to the literacy
sessions
9. Assists in the preration of learning portfolio
10. Prepares and develops community-based learning materials and other supplementary learning materials
11. Adapts/adopts existing ALS learning materials and other supplementary learning materials
12. Translates ALS learning materials and other learning materials into the local language of the learners or community where he/she conducts
learning sessions as the need arises
13. Conducts action research activity to improve teaching-learning process as well as delivery of ALS programs and projects
14. Monitors and evaluates the learners learning progress
15. Gathers data on ALS programs and projects
16. Establishes functional reporting system
