The American Character

The text talks about how Americans are in their nationality and how they have
evolved, for example talking about America is the same as talking about diversity
among all kinds of people, they have the thought that the most current will always
be better than the good, and with the fact of being diverse is the fourth largest
nation in the world after Russia, China and Canada.
They have a culture of independence, self-confidence, ingenuity, pragmatism, and
novelty.
It also says that most American citizens are reaching the mid-age point, so it's
almost certain that 72,000 Americans are in their 100's, and I learned that many of
the nation's ethnic and racial minority groups are growing much faster than the
general population, which is amazing really because I don't think anyone takes that
knowledge into account, even Americans themselves.
It's certainly a totally different culture from the one we know and live in on a daily
basis, as easy as traveling and knowing a little bit about the big difference in their
diets, their way of talking, morally and professionally, is something very different
from what we carry.
Even among the Americans themselves, their different cultures change in their
accents, their way of speaking and cooking. Imagine if among them it changes,
how much it will not change with our culture.
In America, democracy is the basis of decision making, so most of its citizens have
an opinion. It is something that they have very established in their way of life,
because it is what they establish.
Not only the vote is a way to elect those who represent them, but also a way to
know what decisions will be taken by those people, those leaders.
In my personal opinion, I consider this to be one of their strongest virtues, because
they have known how to choose and make good decisions, but this last president
they have, I am sure that he made them reflect on how to apply this right in the
best way because there are people who have no limits and do not know how to
survive a nation without putting it in trouble.
Even their way of living together is very peculiar and different from what we are
used to.
From what I have read and written I realize why many Mexicans and foreigners
want to seek and find the famous American dream, they want to find those
advantages and qualities that the American nation offers to its inhabitants.
They have a way of leading their lives that in reality they accept is very good, but
like any other nation they also have their defects but we can consider it one of the
best that exist or at least that is what I have understood, but for example with what
is happening with the pandemic that we are living we also realize that it is not the
strongest, nor the most effective because as I said before we must know how to
choose our leaders.
I think the America is the city bigger and good habitants, your professions
sometimes are goods, but who said before anywhere city needs good politicians
for will have good results.
What is definitely a fact is that they have and live a very fast life compared to what
we as Mexicans lead, is something that sometimes benefits them with their
activities, but I think I've met many who are in search of the American dream, and if
they manage to improve economically but what is surprising is that many find it
difficult to live their culture, totally different that there is not as much coexistence as
we are used to, for the reason that they already have a very established routine
unlike the Mexicans.
