Guideline:

1. Project Title: (Short and Descriptive)

2. Project Summary ( Abstract) summarization of the project including the goals/objectives,


anticipated results, and any broader significance.

3. Background and Relevance (Introduction of the project, including the gap in knowledge it
will address, why it is important, review of previous work done on the topic, citing
relevant literature plus explaining how the project will be different from other similar
projects)

4. Goals and Objectives: ( What the project plans to accomplish, overall learning/teaching
objectives, primary beneficiaries of the project)

5. Project Timeline (for this project, we are looking at the timeline to be between 3 – 6
months to 1 year )

6. Plan of Action (methodology/strategy or activities planned noting tools, materials or


equipment necessary to achieve it or maybe employed, list of steps and timelines for
implementation, indicate populations, communities and location and perhaps anticipated
number of participants

7. Logical Framework: Results and Desired Outcomes: ( What are the expected results of
the project e.g. learning materials, instruction plan, how the project will advance the
knowledge gap identified - changes expected to result from the outputs and who/what
will benefit from the outputs, and how the results will be disseminated and to whom)

9. External Capacity Development: ( Demonstrative value and Replicability- how the project
will contribute to socioeconomic of local students, community members, collaborators or
other individual through education, trainings, mentoring etc.

10. Monitoring and Evaluation: (How the project work and results will be evaluated, listing
indicators that will be used to monitor progress towards the goals, include current
baselines and expected targets, if applicable)
