Whats up?

Now you’ve seen the ad, you probably are curious to

learn more. No worries. Here’s your written answer.
Firstly, I’d like to set your expectations:

FREELANCING is not a JOB. It’s a business. Unless

you treat it like a business, it will not work for you.
You have to take it seriously as your life depended on
it, because it will, eventually. Freelancing will defi-
nitely give you the life that you deserve if you create
means to do so.

Contrary to the famous belief that freelancing is

simply signing up to freelancing sites like Upwork,
Freeeup or Onlinejobs.Ph and wait until a client
contacts us, we, in Create & Rise Academy advocate
on creating a freelance business through social media
platforms, so we can receive the rates that we de-
serve, without our client flow being dependent on
these sites, and without our way of living be depend-
ent whether this freelancing sites approve our pro-
files or suspend our accounts.

We take charge of our own businesses.

The freelancing sites are usually a race to the bottom.

Clients go there to search for the person who can do
it the cheapest and the fastest. Unlike Juan Tamad
where we just wait for the bayabas to fall into our
mouths, we’ll take charge of what we can do to make
our services become brands and get a more consist-
ent, lucrative, client flow.

HOW?
I created this 7-step roadmap that you can follow. It explains the process of how we do it and
how to earn up to 160k per month (this is our latest mentee income report from Lei, of Batch
Churchill - see your testimony in the last few pages of this guide.)

Stage 1 out of 7: Precision

This is where we focus in on some kind of problem we want to solve or skill we want
to offer. Success comes to those who serve, so we have to be clear on who we are
serving in order to attract them as clients or customers.

When I started, I chose authors as the people I wanted to serve and book cover de-
sign as the service I wanted to offer.

It is important to be as specific as possible because there’s where you’ll be building

your brand and getting known for something. If you try to be anything to anyone, no
one will know what exactly what you’ll do.

So, start with what skill you want to offer and who you want to serve. What’s yours?

Stage 2: Ascension
This is where we start developing our skills and “getting in the game” to start build-
ng up confidence and momentum. This is when knowledge turns to action.

I went through this stage by practicing my design skills at home whenever I had free
time so that I could become a valuable asset for my future clients.

Unlike the popular belief that you need 10,000 hours to master a skill, Josh Kau-
fmann, a learning expert, said you only need 20 hours. Pre-commit to 20 hours of
undivided attention in the skill you want to learn to become good at it.
Stage 3: Production
This is where we get clear on what services or products we want to offer and put to-
gether packages that can be purchased. Think of it as a “menu” that people choose
from.

I applied this stage by putting together different book cover and formatting packages
that would be convenient and simple for my clients to pick from.

It’s easier for clients to work with you if you already have this basic foundation taken
out of the way. If a client asks “How much do you charge?” You already have a defini-
tive answer.

Stage 4: Attraction
This is where we start to master marketing and client attraction by positioning our-
selves as a helpful guide who has solutions for our clients and customers.

At this stage, I began to study the world’s best marketers so I could develop strategies
that would make clients want to choose me rather than other competitors.

From Stage 1 where I mastered my service & built a brand out from that specific skill,
I also positioned myself as an expert on that skill so when the clients need help, they
come to me instead of going to someone else because it’s a no-brainer. They under-
stand that I am good at what I do.

Stage 5: Stabilization
this is where we develop strategies for income stability so the business can be reliable
and reduce any stress or uncertainty.

I did this by offering a combination of hourly and per-project rates and also setting up
a referral program so that I always had a steady flow of clients coming to me.

Later on, I came to a point where I did not have to market myself because the system
did that for me. This is the secret to creating a stable income as a freelancer.
Stage 6: Negotiation
This is where we begin to master the art of closing deals and forming partnerships so that
we never run out of clients and we can reduce our workload through hiring
and outsourcing.

Over time, I reached this stage where the majority of my client work is outsourced to other
people. This frees up my time so I can focus on other things (like teaching this process and
spreading the word about all this!)

Unlike what people say that you need to be good in English to close deals, you don’t need
to. You just need to be able to assure them that you can do the job and back it up with data
and they’ll work with you!

Stage 7: Manifestation
This is where we learn to master our psychology and become truly confident in our ability
to shape our own destiny. This stage never ends because there is always more we could do
or become. The sky is the limit.

Creating a business is a spiritual game in itself. You need to fight your own demons and you
need to make sure you have the right kind of mindset to be able to truly reach the point
where you are earning well BUT still is happy.

Nothing is impossible!
