This is to certify that Ms Patricia Saldanha has undertaken a research study/thesis on “Employee
supervision in the fulfilment of the requirement for the award of the degree ‘Master of Business
The topic chosen for the study is employee motivation and workplace stress management in Al
Safeer group of Companies. The reason for choosing this topic is that during my tenure at Safeer,
I came across a number of employees who don’t have a smile on their face or are always grumpy
looking. The reason behind this is demotivation or stress that they face at workplace, which is
what I wanted to know more about. This thesis understands the human resource at Safeer, how
certain processes work and how the management functions in various aspects. Certain employees
were chosen at random to answer a questionnaire that would give a proper insight into the
situation. Based on their responses the data was analysed using charts and graphs of different
kinds. Recommendations on how to better the situation in the company and in what way can the
management and HR perform better in terms of employee welfare have been discussed as well.
