This template specifies CPRI adjustment in the GTMU abandoning scenario.

Guideline:
1. Each TemplateName parameter value corresponds to one piece of CPRI adjustment
information for a GTMU in a base station during co-MPT reconstruction. The number of rows where
this parameter occupies indicates the number of CPRI fiber optic cables to be adjusted. In addition,
GTMU CPRI Move TemplateName in the SitePlanning sheet needs to be set to the value of
TemplateName (column A).
2. You are advised to set TemplateName to base station names, which prevents data conversion
errors due to same TemplateName values. Exercise cautions when multiple co-MPT
reconstruction sites share one TemplateName value.
3. Each piece of CPRI adjustment information includes the following five items: GTMU CPRIPort,
GTMU CPRIPort Need CpriMux, Dest UBRI/UBBP BrdType, Dest UBRI/UBBP Slot, and Dest
UBRI/UBBP CPRIPort. All these items need to be specified. If no board is installed in the slot
specified by Dest UBRI/UBBP Slot, a UBRI or UBBP will be added during co-MPT reconstruction.
4. Default_Template is a default template, which is used when all CPRI cables on the GTMU are
moved to a newly added UBRI in slot 1 and the GTMU is abandoned.

Remarks

Mandatory
Set this parameter according to the configuration plan.
Note: The generated SCTP link ID cannot be the same as any SCTP link ID
existing on the BSC. You can run the LST SCTPLNK command on the
BSC to query the existing SCTP link IDs.

Optional. The default value takes effect if it is unspecified.

Set this parameter according to the configuration plan.

Optional for a GBTS. The default value takes effect if it is unspecified.

In most cases, set this parameter to the default value 12.
The system generates SCTP links with the quantity determined by this
parameter.

GSM parameter, which is optional

U2000 IP address of an OM channel in the base station
In the GO reconstruction or batch reconstruction scenario, this parameter is
mandatory.

GSM parameter, which is optional

U2000 IP address mask of an OM channel in the base station
In the GO reconstruction or batch reconstruction scenario, this parameter is
mandatory.

Leave this parameter unspecified for single-mode base stations.

Optional for an MBTS. The data is converted according to the most recent
mode if this parameter is unspecified. In hybrid-MPT MBTS reconstruction
scenarios, the parameter must be set to SingleRAN.
Hint:
1. Only multiple MBTSs with the same baseline RAT can be reconstructed in
the same batch.
2. Set this parameter if the main control board or transmission extension board
of the baseline RAT provides the transmission port in the reconstructed co-
MPT MBTS that uses co-transmission or two BBUs. The BBUs can be
interconnected.
3. When this parameter is used to determine the data of which RAT is used
during data conversion, a warning is prompted if the conversion can affect
transmission QoS or transmission routes.

Optional. It is mandatory when GSM uses E1/T1 transmission.

E1 unbalanced mode and E1 balanced mode correspond to different E1
impedances. E1 unbalanced mode corresponds to impedance of 75 ohms, and
E1 balanced mode corresponds to impedance of 120 ohms.
This parameter is unavailable for the GBTS. The work mode is determined by
the DIP switch. After reconstruction to a co-MPT base station, this parameter
takes effect instead of the DIP switch.
GTMU evolution software version, which is optional. Leave this parameter
unspecified if the GTMU is abandoned or GSM is not involved. Set this
parameter in other scenarios.
The GTMU evolution software is of a special V900 version, such as
BTS3900V900R008C00SP010. In the GTMU evolution scenario, the U2000
must be informed of the GTMU evolution software version to be used in PnP
tasks. If the GTMU evolution software version is unspecified, PnP tasks will fail.
Then, data conversion needs to be performed for a second time, which causes
a waste of time and manpower.

Optional. If the BSC name is unspecified, the CME uses the current processing
mode. That is, the CME searches for the BSC to be reconstructed based on the
GBTS name.
If the BSC name is specified, all GBTSs to be reconstructed must belong to this
BSC.

GTMU SingleOM reconstruction software version, which is optional. The GTMU

SingleOM reconstruction software is of a special V900 version, such as
BTS3900V900R010C00SP010.
If the GTMU supports SingleOM, the U2000 must be informed of the GTMU
SingleOM reconstruction software version to be used in PnP tasks. If the
GTMU SingleOM reconstruction software version is unspecified, PnP tasks will
fail. Then, data conversion needs to be performed for a second time, which
causes a waste of time and manpower.

Reserved for future expansion, which can be unspecified

Indicates whether the base station in the table requires data conversion.
If this parameter is set to Yes, data of the base station will be converted. If this
parameter is unspecified, the base station data will not be converted.
You can clear Yes by pressing Delete to disable data conversion.
Mandatory if data of a GBTS or an MBTS that contains a GBTS is to be
converted, which is manually configured.
The name cannot contain any of the following special characters: , ; = " ' \ / : * ?
< > | @ # ! % ^ & * [ ].
Mandatory if data of a NodeB or an MBTS that contains a NodeB is to be
converted, which is manually configured.
The name cannot contain any of the following special characters: , ; = " ' \ / : * ?
< > | @ # ! % ^ & * [ ].
Mandatory if data of an eNodeB or an MBTS that contains an eNodeB is to be
converted, which is manually configured.
The name cannot contain any of the following special characters: , ; = " ' \ / : * ?
< > | @ # ! % ^ & * [ ].
NE name after data conversion. If this parameter is unspecified, the NE name
is automatically generated based on the SRANBaselineRAT parameter value.
If SRANBaselineRAT is unspecified, the NE name of the most recent RAT is
used. The name cannot contain any of the following special characters: , ; = " ' \
/ : * ? < > | @ # ! % ^ & * [ ]. When the PnP task is started, the NE name of the
baseline RAT will be automatically changed to the value of this parameter.
(This name is planned by users. If users do not plan this name, the NE name of
the baseline RAT is used.)

Optional for eGBTS reconstruction. You are advised to set this parameter
according to the data plan. A newly planned local IP address of an OM channel
must be a logical IP address instead of an interface IP address.
If this parameter is unspecified for eGBTS reconstruction, the BTS IP address
of the GBTS is automatically used.
Leave this parameter unspecified for multimode reconstruction.
Optional for eGBTS reconstruction. You are advised to set this parameter
according to the data plan.
If this parameter is unspecified for eGBTS reconstruction, the BTS IP address
mask of the GBTS is automatically used.
Leave this parameter unspecified for multimode reconstruction.

Optional. It is mandatory if GSM uses Ethernet transmission. This parameter

specifies the next-hop IP address of the Ethernet port in the base station. This
parameter can be unspecified if GU co-transmission through backplane
interconnection is used or if GL co-transmission through backplane
interconnection is used without E1 backup. This parameter must be specified if
GL co-transmission through backplane interconnection is used with E1 backup.
If the Abis interface applies layer 2 networking, this parameter is set to the
interface IP address of the board where the BSC IP address is configured. If
co-transmission is not used or co-transmission through panel interconnection is
used, this parameter is set to the next-hop IP address configured on the GSM
side and this IP address must on the same network segment as the BTS device
IP address but different from the BTS IP address. If GL co-transmission
through backplane interconnection is used with E1 backup, this parameter is
set to the next-hop IP address of the port of the baseline RAT.
Mandatory when IP over E1 is used
(If the base station is directly connected to the controller through IP over E1,
set this parameter to DISABLE. If the base station is connected to a router
through IP over E1, set this parameter to ENABLE. If the base station is
connected to an upper-level base station through IP over E1, set this
parameter to DISABLE.)

Mandatory if GSM uses IP over FE/GE or E1 transmission with E1 backup, and

optional in GU or GL FE co-transmission scenarios with E1 backup

Optional. This parameter is used for clock data conversion. The default value
NULL indicates that the default reference clock source priorities (GPS >
SYNCETH+IPCLK > IPCLK > SYNCETH > LINECLK > TOD > BITS) take
effect. You are advised to run the SET CLKMODE command to configure this
parameter for the hybrid reference clock sources.

Optional. If this parameter is unspecified, the default value takes effect. Set this
parameter to YES in the GTMU abandoning scenario. Set this parameter to NO
in the GTMU evolution scenario.

Optional. This parameter is used in the GTMU abandoning scenario. The

default value takes effect if this parameter is unspecified.
Mandatory in the GTMU abandoning scenario. Adjustment of CPRI fiber optic
cables on the GTMU is specified using a template. Set this parameter to the
corresponding template name. Specify the template in the
MultiCpriChainMoveTemplate sheet.

GTMU CPRI adjustment template name, which is mandatory in the GTMU

abandoning scenario

Number of the port from which a CPRI fiber optic cable is removed, which is
mandatory in the GTMU abandoning scenario

Mandatory in the GTMU abandoning scenario. This parameter specifies

whether to use CPRI MUX due to port insufficiency when the dual-star topology
is used before GU/GL/GU+L/GL+U co-MPT reconstruction. If this parameter is
set to YES, CPRI MUX is used. If this parameter is set to NO, CPRI MUX is not
used. If this parameter is unspecified, the default value takes effect.
The default value is NO.

Type of the board to which the CPRI fiber optic cable is to be moved from the
GTMU, which is mandatory in the GTMU abandoning scenario. If this
parameter is unspecified, the default value takes effect.
The default value is UBRI.

Number of the slot housing the board to which the CPRI fiber optic cable is to
be moved from the GTMU, which is mandatory in the GTMU abandoning
scenario

Set this parameter to NO if you need to remove the main control board of a

the main control board of the
non-baseline RAT and convert this board to a secondary board or standby
board.
Optional. This parameter must be set to Yes when two BBUs are to be
combined into one.

Since there are many scenarios where two BBUs are combined into one, select
a template from the MultiBBUCombTemplate sheet and set this parameter to
the template name (column A in the MultiBBUCombTemplate sheet).
If you want to define a new template, select a most similar template and copy it
to the end of the MultiBBUCombTemplate sheet (note that you can leave a
maximum of 12 blank rows between two templates). Then, modify the template,
rename it, and set this parameter to the name of the new template.
When modifying the template, do not change the number of rows the template
occupies. Change the cell values by selecting values from drop-down menus
but do not delete any cells.

Type of the main control board used after reconstruction, which is optional. If
this parameter is unspecified, the default value UMPT takes effect.
Note that the GTMUb/GTMUc SingleOM scenario and the GTMU abandoning
scenario are mutually exclusive.
Notice: In the GTMUb/GTMUc SingleOM scenario, set this parameter to
GTMUb or GTMUc according to site conditions. If this parameter is incorrectly
set, configurations fail to take effect after data conversion due to the difference
in TRX specifications between the GTMUb and GTMUc.
