Sign of the Cross
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Act of Faith
O my God, I firmly believe that Thou art one God in three divine persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit; I believe that
Thy divine Son became man and died for our sins, and that He shall come to judge the living and the dead. I believe
these and all the truths which the holy Catholic Church teaches, because Thou hast revealed them, Who canst
neither deceive nor be deceived. Amen.

Act of Hope
O my God, relying on Thy almighty power and infinite mercy and promises, I hope to obtain pardon for my sins, the
help of Thy grace, and life everlasting, through the merits of Jesus Christ, my Lord and Redeemer. Amen.

Act of Love
O my God, I love Thee above all things, with my whole heart and soul, because Thou art all-good and worthy of all
love. I love my neighbor as myself for the love of Thee. I forgive all who have injured me, and ask pardon of all
whom I have injured. Amen.

Act of Contrition
O my God, I am heartily sorry for having offended Thee and I detest all my sins because of Thy just punishments,
but most of all because they offend Thee, my God, who art all good and deserving of all my love. I firmly resolve,
with the help of Thy grace, to sin no more and avoid the near occasions of sin. Amen.

Prayer to One's Guardian Angel

Angel of God, my guardian dear, to whom his love commits me here; ever this (day/night) be at my side, to light
and guard, to rule and guide. Amen.

Prayer to Saint Michael

Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle; be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do thou, O prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God thrust
into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls. Amen.

Visita, quaesumus, Domine

Visit, we beg Thee, O Lord, this dwelling, and drive from it all the snares of the enemy; let Thy holy Angels dwell
herein to keep us in peace; and let Thy blessing be always upon us. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Immaculata Mater Dei

Immaculate Mother of God, Queen of heaven, Mother of mercy, Advocate and Refuge of sinners, behold, I,
enlightened and inspired by the graces obtained for me abundantly from the divine treasury through thy maternal
affection, resolve this day and always to place my heart into thy hands to be consecrated to Jesus.
To thee, therefore, most Blessed Virgin, in the presence of nine choirs of Angels and all the Saints, I now give it. Do
thou, in my name, consecrate it to Jesus; and out of the filial confidence which I hereby make profession of, I am
certain that now and always thou wilt do all thou canst to bring it to pass that my heart may ever wholly belong to
Jesus, and may imitate perfectly the example of the Saints, and in particular that of Saint Joseph, thy most pure
Spouse. Amen.
Rosary (Dominican Method)
1. Introductory Prayer:
V. Hail, Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with Thee;
R. Blessed art Thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of Thy womb, Jesus.
V. O Lord, ☩ open my lips. (☩ - Trace a cross over your lips)
R. And my mouth shall declare Your praise.
V. O God, ☩ come to my assistance. (☩ - Make the sign of the Cross gesture)
R. O Lord, make haste to help me.
V. Glory be to the Father, and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit,
R. as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
Alleluia. (From Septuagesima to Lent instead of the “Alleluia”, say: “Praise to You, o
Lord, King of eternal glory”)
2. Announce the First Mystery; then say the "Our Father."
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as
it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who
trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
3. Say ten "Hail Marys," while meditating on the Mystery.
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women and blessed is the fruit of
thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now, and in the hour of our death.
Amen.
4. Say the "Glory be to the Father."
Glory  be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and will
be forever. Amen.
During the Sacred Triduum, the Glory Be is replaced by the following:
a. On Maundy Thursday:
V: Christ was made obedient for us.
R: Unto death.
b. On Good Friday:
V: Christ was made obedient for us unto death.
R: Even to the death of the cross.
c. On Holy Saturday:
V: Christ was made obedient for us unto death, even to the death of the cross.
R: For which cause God also hath exalted Him, and hath given Him a name which is
above all names.
5. Say the Fatima Supplication (optional).
O my Jesus, forgive us our sins and save us from the fires of Hell. Lead all souls to heaven, especially
those in most need of Thy mercy.
6. Announce the Second Mystery; then say the "Our Father." Repeat 3, 4 (and 5) and continue with
Third, Fourth and Fifth Mysteries in the same manner.
7. Hail Holy Queen
Hail  holy Queen, Mother of mercy, our life, our sweetness, and our hope. To thee do we cry, poor
banished children of Eve. To thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears.
Turn then, most gracious Advocate, thine eyes of mercy toward us. And after this our exile show unto us
the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus. O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary.
8. Concluding prayer:
V. Pray for us, o Holy Mother of God.
R. That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.
Let us pray:
O God, whose only begotten Son by His life, death and resurrection has purchased for us the
rewards of eternal life: grant, we beseech You, that by meditating on these mysteries of the
Most Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary, we may imitate what they contain and obtain
what they promise. Through the same Christ our Lord. Amen.
V. May the Divine ☩ assistance remain always with us. (☩ - Make the sign of the Cross gesture)
R. Amen
V. May the souls of the faithful departed through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
R. Amen

Come, Holy Spirit

Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of Thy faithful and kindle in them the fire of Thy love.
V. Send forth Thy Spirit and they shall be created
R. And Thou shalt renew the face of the earth.
Let us pray: O GOD, Who taught the hearts of the faithful by the light of the Holy Spirit, grant that, by the gift of
the same Spirit, we may be always truly wise, and ever rejoice in His consolation. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Act of Spiritual Communion

My Jesus, I believe that Thou art present in the Blessed Sacrament. I love Thee above all things and I desire Thee in
my soul. Since I cannot now receive Thee sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. As though Thou
wert already there, I embrace Thee and unite myself wholly to Thee; permit not that I should ever be separated
from Thee. Amen.
Oblatio Sui
Lord Jesus Christ, take all my freedom, my memory, my understanding, and my will. All that I have and cherish
Thou hast given me. I surrender it all to be guided by Thy will. Thy grace and Thy love are wealth enough for me.
Give me these Lord Jesus and I ask for nothing more. Amen.

Gloria
Glory to God in the highest, and peace on earth to men of good will.
We praise Thee, we bless Thee, we adore Thee, we glorify Thee, we give Thee thanks for Thy great glory, O Lord
God, heavenly King, God the Father Almighty.
O Lord Jesus Christ, only begotten Son, Lord God, Lamb of God, Son of the Father, Thou who takest away the sins
of the world, have mercy on us; Thou who takest away the sins of the world, receive our prayer. Thou who sittest
at the right hand of the Father, have mercy on us.
For Thou alone art the Holy One, Thou alone art the Lord, Thou alone art the Most High, Jesus Christ, with the Holy
Spirit, in the glory of God the Father. Amen.

Prayer to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus

O most Sacred Heart of Jesus, we beseech Thee to pour fourth Thy blessing upon Thy Holy Church, upon the Pope,
and upon all the clergy. Grant the just perseverance, convert sinners, illuminate unbelievers, bless those close to
us, our friends and benefactors, assist the dying, free the souls spending time in purgatory, and sweetly extended
the power of Thy love over all hearts. Amen.

Prayer of St. Benedict of Nursia

O loving and holy Father, graciously grant me, intellect to understand Thee, and reason to discern Thee.
Grant me a spirit to know Thee, diligence to seek Thee, wisdom to find Thee, and a mind to know Thee.
Grant me a heart to love Thee, a heart to know Thee, deeds to praise Thee, and ears to hear Thee.
Grant me eyes to see Thee, a tongue to proclaim Thee, conversation pleasing to Thee, patience to wait for Thee,
and perseverance to look for Thee,
Grant me a perfect end, Thy holy presence, a blessed resurrection, a heavenly reward, and eternal life. Amen.

Memorare, O piissima Virgo Maria

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection,
implored thy help, or sought thy intercession was left unaided. Inspired with this confidence, I fly to thee, O Virgin
of virgins, my Mother; to thee do I come; before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word
Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me. Amen.

Memento nostri, beate Ioseph

Be mindful of us, O Blessed Joseph, and intercede for us with thy foster-Son by the pleading of thy prayer: do thou,
in like manner, render the blessed Virgin Mary, thy Spouse, gracious unto us, for she is the Mother of Him, who
with the Father and the Holy Ghost liveth and reigneth world without end. Amen.

Prayer to St. Vincent Ferrer

O Glorious apostle and thaumaturge, St. Vincent Ferrer, the new angel of the Apocalypse and our protector, accept
our humble prayer and bring down upon us the abundance of divine favors. By that charity which animated thy
heart, obtain for us from the Father of all mercy the pardon of our sins, steadfastness in the faith, perseverance in
good works; so that living a fervent Christian life, we may deserve thy powerful patronage.
Extend that patronage even to our bodies, and free them from infirmity. Preserve our fields from the damages of
storm and hail, and keep off all misfortune. Thus favored by Thee with blessings in soul and body, we shall ever be
thy devout clients, and one day with thee praise God in heaven, world without end. Amen.

Act of Reparation to the Holy Trinity

O Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, I adore Thee profoundly. I offer Thee the most precious Body,
Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ present in all the tabernacles of the world, in reparation for the outrages,
sacrileges and indifferences by which He is offended. By the infinite merits of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the
Immaculate Heart of Mary I beg the conversion of poor sinners.

Prayer of Richard of Chichester

Thanks be to thee, my Lord Jesus Christ, for all the benefits thou hast given me, for all the pains and insults thou
hast borne for me. O most merciful redeemer, friend and brother, may I know thee more clearly, love thee more
dearly, and follow thee more nearly.
