Students should learn about political science because it provides vital knowledge that can help
them to analyze the political behavior, activities, and situations in the country, or across the
world. Political knowledge is significant in understanding how the political activities affect the
economy and various sectors of society. Therefore, students should gain skills in political
science to increase their understanding regarding the effect of various political decisions and
their effects on human lives. Developing the capacity to analyze political behavior could also
help students to provide personal contributions regarding the development of a nation.

Students could examine political decisions made by various politicians and advice the public
about the consequences of such moves. Consequently, such advices could help the people to
restructure their lives based on the possible consequences of decisions made by politicians. For
instance, an announcement by President of the United States of America about the economic
state of the country would affect the stock market activities across the world. Therefore, a
political science student could analyze the content of such a statement and provide useful
information about its consequences in the American politics, stock market, global economy,
and international relations. Moreover, a political science student could examine such
statements and offer essential advices to various institutions, such as corporations regarding
the best policy decisions to take based on the possible effects of such political decisions. From a
personal perspective, political science could help me to analyze the policy decisions taken by
the government and advice the public about the economic, social, and cultural benefits and
challenges that such initiatives could have on them. Therefore, learning political science would
assist me to play vital roles in safeguarding the interests of the public and its institutions.

Gagnon et al. in their article, "Why and How

Political Science Can Contribute to Public
Health? Proposals for Collaborative
Research Avenues," examine how political
science contributes to improved public
health. They note that an increased research
in this topic could help in providing critical
assessment of public policy and how it
enhances the development of public health.
Thus, they assert that such political study
could have positive influence on the health
sector of the country. In my opinion, the
finding of the study conducted by Gagnon et
al. is essential because it highlights the
function of political science in society. I
support their conclusion that increased
research on the role of political science in
improving the health sector could help in the
formation of effective public policies for the
benefit of the people. This perspective is
correct because increased study about the
public health policy will produce useful ideas
that could reduce the cost of healthcare and
increase the quality of health services
provided in various hospitals across the
country.
Pacho's article, "The Necessity of Political
Education," examines the significance of
studying political science in various
institutions of learning. He notes that
political science prepares students to become
effective future leaders and develops their
capacity to critique political affairs.
Consequently, this knowledge will help them
to address political challenges in society, such
as inadequacies of the constitution. I support
Pacho's findings because his ideas reveal the
importance of political science in shaping the
economic, social, and cultural course of
society. In my opinion, his research could
motivate more people to study political
science because of the critical role it plays in
influencing different aspects of human life.
