graphs.
Pedagogy

Activity In this activity I will begin with having my students learn and understand how
to work clever by creating a step by step word doc for them and their parents
to follow at home. I will also be letting the parents know in order for their
students to learn the information being taught I will start meetings through
zoom that will, be optional for the students to join, but I will also post and send
the zoom meetings after they are finished with, which are mandatory to watch
some day during the week. I will also put up specific office hours in which my
students or their parents can have a privet one on one zoom meeting if they
have any questions about anything related to the class.

This specific activity I will be showing my students how to read, and recognize
data from bar graphs. In my zoom meeting I will have my students that are
active (if any) to answer questions and ask them questions to make sure they
understand the information that I’m giving out. I will have a white board where
I will draw pictures of the graphs and a pointer where I will be asking the
students where specific items are on the graphs and how to collect the
information from the graph just to make sure they know how to read the
graphs, and that they know how to organize, collect, and represent the data
being shown in these graphs. Not only will I be showing them myself but I will
also be adding a simulation. This simulation allows students to work with a
virtual bar graph to get to understand them better. This simulation will help
those students that are hands on learners, that are not really storing the
information I am showing them myself.

Since the class is online, I will be giving out weekly quizzes so I know my
students are learning the information. I will use the quizzes also for my
knowledge to know how to continue on the next couple of weeks and what I
need to still go over or if I need to re-teach a topic.
