Título
Justificación
Analizaré los cuatro movimientos de la Concord sonata de Charles Ives (1919) y discutiré las
citaciones musicales (musical quotation) en cada uno de los movimientos. Además, trataré el
tema de la filosofía detrás del proceso compositivo de esta obra y la influencia que tuvieron
algunos trascendentalistas de la historia estadounidense, específicamente: Ralph Waldo
Emerson, Nathaniel Hawthorne, Bronson Alcott y Louisa Alcott y Henry David Thoreau. Por
último, analizaré los métodos de interpretación y su alta complejidad.
