AGENDA:

I. SCHEDULE
Class schedule of the Grade 8 students is from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The parents
were reminded that students are not allowed to go out of the school premises during class
hours. Gate pass will not be given to any students whose reason is not valid. On the other
hand, students who have illnesses will be given gate pass if the guardian or parent will fetch
them. Since the class hours is only half day, the students are advised to bring their packed
lunch.

II. SCHOOL RULES AND REGULATIONS

A. SCHOOL UNIFORM
The parents were reminded about the schedule of wearing standard uniform and PE
uniform. Standard uniform will be worn every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. On the other
hand, PE uniform will be worn every Tuesday and Thursday. In addition, the parents were
advised that black shoes should be worn for the standard uniform and avoid using high socks
for the female students.

B. PROPER HAIR CUT

As part of being presentable, the parents were told that proper hair cut is very
important especially for the male students. There will be a hair inspection every first Monday
of the month to monitor those students who need to trim their hair. On the other hand, female
students who have hair coloring was also given emphasis during the meeting. If the students
fail to follow this rule, they will not be allowed to enter the school premises.

C. STUDENTS’ BEHAVIOR
Punctuality was one of the concerns of the meeting because it is really observable that
some students come to school beyond the class hours. The parents were also reminded about
those students who put cosmetics like lip tint and use nail polish.

D. NO CELLPHONE POLICY
Parents were reminded that mobile phone are not allowed inside the classroom. Those
students who use mobile phones during class hours will be given sanction. The phone will be
confiscated and the parents should get it from the teacher. This will only be allowed if it is
emergency.

E. NO CLASS HOUR VISIT/FAILING GRADES

The teacher reminded the parents that they are not allowed to visit their children
during class hours because it may interrupt the discussion. Nevertheless, if there is an
emergency, the parent will be allowed to excuse their children. If the parents have concerns
regarding to the learners’ progress, 2:30 p.m. onwards is given to meet the concerned
teachers.

III. AWARDING OF ACADEMIC ACHIEVERS
