How to Change Drawing Insulin from Vial to

the T:Slim X2 Syringe
1.  Wipe the top of the insulin vial with

3.  Draw air into syringe up to the
amount of insulin desired
4. With insulin vial upright, insert
needle into vial. Inject air from
syringe into vial. 
5.  With the needle still inserted into
vial, turn vial and syringe upside
down. Release syringe plunger.
Insulin will begin to flow from the vial
into the syringe.
6. Pull plunger slowly back until the
desired amount of insulin is in the
syringe. Remove syringe from the
vial.
7. Check for air bubbles
1. If there are air bubbles flick
they rise to the top and push
the plunger until they are out.
2. If there is none you are good
to go!

7. Remove the used cartridge by using
a coin. Insert the coin at the bottom
left ridge and push up to remove. 
8. Place bottom of the cartridge at the
end of the pump. Make sure the
cartridge is lined up to both guide
tracks. 
9. Push on the circular fill port next to
the cartridge tubing to slide the
cartridge onto the pump. Tap
UNLOCK when completed. 
10. Tap NEXT to continue
