Q:1 ATTEMPT THE FOLLOWING (2+3=10)
(A) The three vertices of a triangle are located at A (6,-1, 2), B (-2, 3,-4) and C (-3, 1, 5). 2
Find:
(a) RAB ×RAC (b) The area of the triangle (c) A unit vector perpendicular to the
plane in which the triangle are located.
(B) Given point P (—2, 6, 3) and vector A = yax + (x + z) ay, express P and A in cylindrical 3
and spherical coordinates.
Q:2 ATTEMPT THE FOLLOWING (5×2=10)
(A) Infinite uniform line charge of 5 nC/m, lie along the positive and negative x and y axes 5
