● NSUT-IIF won the first prize on 15 October ‘2017 in Chennai, in the category
th
“Institution Supporting Startups” sponsored by Niti Aayog and All India Council for
Technical Education (AICTE) in collaboration with Vijnana Bharati (VIBHA) (IISF
2017.
● First APJ Abdul Kalam Lecture was organized on 30th March with Dr UNNAT PANDIT
as Keynote Speaker.
● Sexcond APJ Abdul Kalam Lecture was organized on 12th Nov with Mr ROHIT GOEL
as Keynote Speaker.
● MHRD –AICTE event –INDIA INNOVATION day was organized on 10th of August at
NSUT in which 60 POCs were presented and 400 startups and students participated.
The incubatees which have been funded in 2018-19 and 2019-20 with key focus on business
performance are Alnourish (3.5 lacs), Bonfarmo (2.69 lacs), Zalonin (fund of 4.5 lacs), ACM
Productions (fund of 1.75 lacs), Datsme (3.39 lacs), Scavengers Network Private Limited (INR
71,000), Vkarma Edutech (INR 87,000), Mechfuse (INR 73,000). The startups funded in
2017-18 are Readerscrib (fund of 3.5 lacs), Triposse (3.6 lacs), Edzofit (2 lacs), Cachefi (5 lacs).
We have been able to successfully fund startups to enable them to do deliver quality value to
their customers.
Pre-incubatees are HelponAir, Bageera, WheelBox Private Limited and Neem Agro Solutions.
Achievements of Incubatees
● Alnourish - Alnourish has received a sustenance allowance from Istart under the
Government of Rajasthan through which they will be receiving INR 10,000 per month for
1 year. Besides this, in total they have raised capital from equity investors.
● Triposse - Saumya Dutta received a travel and stay grant of around a lac rupees to attend
World Youth Forum funded by the Government of Egypt. She has developed close ties at
Egypt for her startup Triposse.
● Venture Deeproots, a company that makes Computer Vision based Intelligent Platform
which could be retrofitted to Agricultural Vehicles, was selected as one of the 35
companies in the World Kazan Youth OIC Entrepreneurship Forum at Kazan, Russia and
also won the award for the 'Most Investable Idea' at YSIF, Peking University, Beijing. It
was the only Indian enterprise to be selected among 35 excellent ideas being presented.
● Bonfarmo is in the process of receiving a grant of INR 5 lacs from Pusa Institute’s
incubator. They were also given the opportunity to avail a grant of INR 25 lacs.
● Zalonin won the first prize on November 8 at Shark Tanks organized at J.M.C.
